You can visit all of these in about an hour-90 mins if you're heading down from Nana Plaza area, or you can take the train to Phrom Phong and walk from there, as they're all close to that stop. I repeated this walk-around two other nights as well at different times (7 pm, 9 pm, midnight); it was a good way to see what was out there, and to get the blood flowing at least. This was my first time in Bangkok and I didn't know what to expect, and was thinking a lot of the streets would have the Soi Cowboy / Nana Plaza level of crowds and craziness, but its nothing like that at all; Soi 24/1 or the Honeybee group are in smaller alleyways where it's nearly all massage parlors and girls calling out to customers, but the ones on the Soi's on the north side of Sukhumvit Rd are all mixed in with restaurants, regular shops, etc. Punters are definitely walking by, but there's also regular folks doing their thing too. A lot of the parlors are also tucked away in tinier alleyways, so you can hop in away from the main pedestrian flow.

Some of them have women out front calling for your attention (the 24/1 group especially), others have women out front just staring blankly at their phones (Hello, Daisy Dream), and the more low-key, classier ones don't even have anyone out front at all. I didn't see anyone amazing, most of the women looked over 30 and had had a lot of work done on their faces and breasts, though a few did catch my eye.
