I think you do make two very good points I did not touch on in my post. The first is the frustration that follows continually trying to find a better girl. That is a dangerous trap to fall into. In one of the shops mentioned there are basically three parts to the transaction. The first is with the shop. They charge the customer 400 baht per hour for use of the facilities and that is all they are interested in. The lady gets 100 baht per hour of that. Second is the service charge of 1500 baht, not to be confused with the tip. This is expected by her if she gets naked no matter what service you want after that. The key here is if she gets naked. She keeps all of the service charge but has to pay the shop to work there. 260 baht for the first customer of the day and 70 baht for each after that. She also has to pay for all supplies such as condoms, oil, soap, mouthwash, boxes of tissues, HIV tests etc. Which really add up. The third is the tip. Thats up to you but if you are getting three pops and give 100 baht that doesn't even cover the cost of the condoms. Also, if you are the first guy of the day they are actually only getting about 1100-1200 (35USD) baht after expenses. Not a lot for some great sex. I have a "GF" who works in the industry and gets tips that range from nothing (fairly common) to 4000 baht. The high end generally from repeat customers. Those girls at the spot you refer to carry on their massage business in a long, varied and interesting row of small shops lining a corridor around the Ambassador Hotel. I am not sure if you could really sink into a tranquiil massage in a cramped shop. No sir. Those are really meant for extras and the like, going all the way to full service.
