There's demand for this service and plenty of real estate around, if not that street, a different one. But also, how many landords want to completely tear those places down and rebuild? It would take a full rebuild to repurpose most of them.

They will survive. Some many close. Some may move. Some may stay the same.

Again this is all hoping that the govt just does't step in and ban them in some way.

I agree with you on this one. 24/1 sits on prime real estate. If it weren't for the fact that those are individually owned shophouse, it would have been gone long ago. I am sure it will be made "difficult" for the oiles to open again. I think there is a better than 50% chance we have seen the end of them.

Then, a massage, during which, seems (ha, ha), a lot of attention is paid to your groin. Last time, no options, no price discussed; girl must have been new. Sushi, limited English, but enough to explain (only) 2 options: HJ, 500; or HJ + B2 B with touching allowed, 1000. What can I say, I'm a pushover, so opted for the higher class. She strips naked; quite nice. Her B2 B, with the sliding, was much more enjoyable then either of my 2 visits to Doki-Doki, no nuru required. Yes, definitely those are my misconceptions and prejudices. I am an avid movie watcher and almost all my favorite movies / characters are either Korean or Japanese and I am also a big fan of park chan wook. So, my opinions are biased and inclined towards them. My love for Thai women also stemmed from that belief as they all look alike to some extent. I heard that the places in those countries cater mostly to locals and also because of budget constraints, as of now, I prefer Thailand.

My mind involuntarily psyches itself that the places that are frequented my East Asian are premium. Moreover, I never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me a member. LOL. Though it sounds stupid, that's how I think.
