Grace Hotel has a lot of middle-eastern clientelle. I sort of don't really fit in. I won't mention my major problem explicitly just to be polite (some regular readers will know exactly what it is). I don't like to stay in that particular district (Soi 3 - Soi 5), even at better Hotels like Zenith. That district even has some places muslim prayer time stuff coming out loud speakers. Lots of Halal food places, ladies in hijab etc. Its hardly like you are in the "real Bangkok" there. Just my opinion.I recommend to stay on the even Sois side Soi 2, 4, 6, etc. or on the odd Sois side Soi 9, 11, 13, etc. unless you like the feel of being in a middle-eastern oriented district.
