No. Thailand is up front on what their shops are and are not. They refer to them as "massage parlors" but that's just a code word for brothel, like in Amsterdam "coffeeshop" is for weed, not coffee.

In Vietnam, at least many places pretend like they are some actual legitimate business, not just a sex shop. In Thailand, sex shops don't pretend to be anything other than what they are once you step inside.

I have been to many and only legit massages in Bangkok. I have quite enjoyed the thrill of being teased a bit, knowingly or unknowingly. Like at one prominent establishment with many branches, the girls brushed at my hard a few times, but nothing more than that. And they kept it very profes. He was looking for a legitimate massage with minimal extras available if he was in the mood. My recommendation was appropriate for his request. I think both of you must have misinterpreted my post. Rakuten is not one of these working girl houses masquerading as a massage shop where the ladies get naked and full service is readily available. To answer your specific question, I haven't been in a while now and the lady I normally asked for was named May, I don't remember her number. They don't wear a number but they all have a number you can ask them for, so you don't have to remember their name. I always opted for the cheap 250 baht / hour Thai massage. The extras weren't cheap but could be negotiated down especially if you were a regular. I haven't been a regular in quite some time.
