After reading your suggestions, I find that it is not wise to spend the money in soapies as they are relatively expensive with no good experience. But in my place it is not possible to find such establishments, so it is a must-to-do thing for me.

1. Are soapies and nuru massages different from one another (in theory it might be different, but in practical terms)? Do I need to take both?

2. Can you suggest one good soapy and nuru massage establishment in Bangkok and Pattaya? I know that the girls and GFEs are subjective things, but suggest better establishments in terms of no ripoffs and customer friendly ones.

It is unwise assumption that Soapies will not work for you. Some guys love it, and I used to use for many years up to dropping off 5 years ago (very few recent great experiences. My I am not normal). There are budget priced soapies, such as Ocean, Merci, Evita, Meree, Catherine, Nancy etc. Annies is designated as a Soapy, but I put it in a special category, since it fails to match many characteristics of a Soapy, particularly for not having plenty of time to watch the girls before choosing, and also due to very small low standard rooms with very cramped space for body slide.

For Nuru I suggest check if Chrome Bar has any girls that appeal (may not). Some guys don't like the setup but I found it okay I have had 2 or 3 good girls in there (of the slim variety) but not recently.

I've spent some time in Pattaya and visited some massage places there a few years ago.

I actually liked it better than Bangkok. And it wasn't so much about the massage places, as it was about the pollution, the traffic, and the long travel distances in Bangkok. Everything was better in Pattaya in this regard.

It's hard to be in the mood to do some hot lady good, when you are surrounded by heavy traffic and breathing in all the pollution.

Bangkok places are also more likely to rip you off in terms of money, than places in Pattaya. You need to be more careful in this regard in Bangkok than in Pattaya.

But I have to admit that Bangkok has more ladies and more massage places to choose from, than Pattaya. In this regard, Bangkok is better.

One of the massage ladies, I liked in Pattaya, actually came from Bangkok. That's what she told me. Which means that there is some travel between Bangkok and Pattaya. They aren't isolated from each other in terms of their ladies.

It's very much a matter of opinion. I have struggled to get really good Soapy experiences in recent times at Ratchada, because I am a big Farang maybe, or more demanding for GFE, fun, and extended sex. My girls tried at Annies and Chrome bar performed way better (only a few are good enough looking). I had a really good girl at Evita (not in Ratchada). I also had a reasonable girl in Ocean. I had a soso girl at the Lord (the extra price did not convert to extra good time).

Many guys hate bars, but I just happen to be able to have fun there and get really good girls sometimes, while wasting some money of drinks and BF. Just have to be prepared to move on if the right type of girl I not there. I can't say why but my success rate with girls I want to repeat seems highest at the bars. This is partly form being able to sit with them and chat for a while to gauge how well we might get on. It is partly from being able to see that girl's body properly to know she is really hot for my taste. It is partly from being able to select girls experienced with Farangs and preferring Farangs. No no. Definetly avoid the pattaya ones. Tourist traps and the most mechanical girls.

Ocean is the old Colonze 2, yes. Emmanuelle has merged with Amsterdam and so boosted the quality of girl selections, considerably.

In any place girls are not guaranteed to be any good. I would suggest try for value Ocean, Meree, Evita, Merci (Maxi). See if you get lucky. In higher price bracket have Emmanuelle.

Years ago I went to Caesar's and found it was mostly for Asians with attempts to gouge about double the price for Farangs. Other places have a more reasonable Farang surcharge that is fixed, and not at discretion of how much the papasan thinks can be ripped off.

Can't think of one aspect of the BKK P4 P scene that has improved since the floods of '11, which seemed to have a very big effect on the FL scene. Since '14 it's really gone downhill. Suk is just a mess these days. Just a horrible demographic roaming the streets. Can't blame the gals for not wanting to be out.

Indeed, the Suk FL scene went downhill fast, I miss that the most. Back before 2010, there have been hundreds of decent FL streetwalkers on any given night, easy to get 2 pops for 1000 baht, and they were generally pleasant. Plenty of normal girls too, part-timers. The few dozen dregs out there these days are downright terrifying, and on rare occasion that I managed to find a non-repulsive one, service has been decidedly underwhelming.

Attitudes in Vietnam are atrocious, to the point that not even cheap mongering is worthwhile (at least HCMC, I hear Hanoi is worse). Oddly enough, I had occasional decent experiences with Vietnamese hookers in other places (Laos, Malaysia), but not even a single memorable one Vietnam itself, and it's not for the lack of trying.
