Right, Traveler. I do try NOT to overpay, although perhaps I overdid it a little in my previous session with Rin (a few reports back). When I have a great time, and like the girl, I'm torn between rewarding her to show my appreciation and holding the line to keep costs down and not raise expectations, both for my own future benefit and for other fellow-mongers. But, in this case, I went with the pretty much accepted standard of 1500 + a 500 tip. Total: 2000 + 600 to "the house" (2600 altogether)GG

GG the accepted standard is 1500 for FS, 1000 for BJ and 500 for HJ. Plus 400 to the house for 1 Hr, 600 for 1 1/2 Hr, 800 for 2 Hr. Some places are less than that but for the most part that is the accepted price and that is what I pay. The extra 500 is above what most regulars pay; however that is strictly a personal choice by each individual. I learned a long time ago that over paying / tipping does not get me better service and it also caused me to stop seeing a regular straight 'Thai Massage' girl because she grew complacent and became lazy and started cutting the sessions way too short; and this after going to her for three years. I always tipped her very generously above what any would expect; but now she just sits outside and asks me why I never come in there anymore; she just has no clue.

By the way, a previous report noted that it's a bit farther walk from the BTS station (Phrom Phong, in this case) than the walk to Tulip (from Thong Lo). That's true, but it's no problem. I counted, and it was only 180 steps from the bottom of the Phrom Phong stairs.

I decided to continue my research by going to Snow White on Sukhumvit Soi 26, just a few feet from Sukhumvit. (You can't miss the sign looking down Soi 26 - left side - from Sukhumvit.) I'm an old Tulip fan but interested in finding an alternative of similar quality. I'm happy to report that (based upon this one visit only, of course, so further research should be done) I was very much impressed with Snow White.When I arrived, at about 8:30 this evening, there were 6 or 7 girls waiting in the lobby. Mama-San Nong extended a pleasant greeting, showed me a card with the options, from which I chose the 1 1/2 hour Oil massage for 600 Baht (2 hours was available for 800 Baht), and I then selected Nin (ratings are subjective but I'd give her an 8 and liked her smile).Off we went upstairs (but - Caution - watch your head - if you're somewhat tall you need to duck-down just after Nong's desk and at a couple of points while going up the stairs). The room was quite nice and a bit larger and newer than those at Tulip since Snow White has only been open for about 3 months. Nin has been working there for 3 weeks and has a very pleasant personality. She looked just as good - maybe even better - with her clothes off and I was directed to the shower where Nin joined me after a few seconds. She washed me all over, with a bit of close body contact and I quickly discovered that DFK was very much on the menu. After a nice shower, and body-washing attention from Nin, we headed to the bed. I wasn't really looking for a massage, and that seemed to be no problem. We immediately began intimate activities which included DFK (as before), BBBJ and DATY.
