There is no Happy House anything on Soi 1, per Google. How long ago did you go there? Perhaps it has closed down since then and thus does not show up in a Google search.

In Thailand you can tip in a restaurant if you were very well looked after. If you leave tip in the bill folder, it may get shared by the staff, or maybe stolen by owner if owner is unfair type. Not a great idea to add tip to your credit card if you want to be sure the staff get it. Cash tips are important.

To ensure a specific person gets tip in Thailand, you need to put cash directly in that persons hand quite separate from paying the bill really. Don't have to make this tipping in hand too obvious. It's not a PSE shop, that is for sure. I've had mixed experiences there. Probably best for guys who are more focused on looks as opposed to service.

Good comment. I have been there a few times, and mixed levels of success. A single experience would not be enough to get any real feel for the girls as a whole. Don't recall many disasters there but I quickly forget those type of encounters.

If you have to go to Bumrungrad for a minor reason, it is a handy daytime stop. The soi is carefully watched by the staff on the soi. However, the guards will happily escort you inside. In house facilities are very poor so its better to take away. There is a small hotel nearby that can be used. Makes a minor hospital visit feel much better. Google does not know everything!
