Yesterday I visited Bongkot Massage on soi 22 (first subsoi right). Another oily-massage. First time for me here. I was not impressed by the line-up, only four girls available at sunset. This is probably because western countries have only recently changed their culture and attitudes towards casual sex. Western countries used to be as restrictive about it in the past, as most Muslim countries are now. Christian and Muslim religions used to have very similar attitudes towards casual sex. And western countries were very Christian, until recently.

But Thailand never had any kind of ideology that restricted and condemned casual sex to the same extent as Christian and Muslim religions did.

If there is little to no risk of getting caught, Thais will do what they want to do. They don't feel "guilt" like Western folks do. That is the double edged sword of a face based culture. Methinks that explains a bit of the promiscuity. That and the fact that Thailand has been going through a serious sexual revolution for over a decade now. Also women are making money. Thailand has more female CEOs than any other country.

Any place is hit and miss with the line up. You just visit a succession of possible nearby places until you find something appealing.
