Rio is warm all year long but right now balmy. SP a shade cooler.
Both cities have violence. In Rio I would not take the bus but metro and taxis are safe. Same for SP, I'd stick to Jardins if I were you. I would not walk at night in SP even a block. Rio is very safe as long as you stay within tourist area in Copa. I don't think it gets dangerous till very late at night but pickpocket can occur at any time of the day.
You can buy ticket at counter at airport to fly SP-Rio. Make sure to use local airports, Santos Dumont in Rio and Conghonas in SP. 40 min flight at most, more 35 min. Look for VASP, TAM airlines for best prices, a flight every 50 min. One way can go as low as R$165. RT R$200 if you're lucky, R$350 otherwise.

Hi Nibs back here at all you. Yeh I will try this wedsday to go to the Braziian embassy for my visa I think it is only a 100 bucks and takes less then 48 hours to process. I think I will visit Sao Paulo first for two days then Rio. Can anyone tell me how long the trip on plane from SP To Rio is? What city is more dangerous. I would say SP. Where can cheaper SeXXX action be found in SP or Rio. Where are the better attitudes of girls in Rio Or SP????? Hey JW buddy can you help me out on some of thse Questions? Johan what about you? Hi Bro JW Yeh Man We shall See I am not sure might be in the US with my girl for a year then but I think in janurary I will try to visit Puerto Rico for three weeks. Shit probably will take my girl then later that year in 2004 to Alaska plus also visit mystical places in New Mexico like Roswell,Las Crucis,Santa Fe and other mystical spots in New Mexico. Will try other parts in the US too plus Canada and maybe like Merida Mexico that would be all cool. That Is What the Long Run looks for Me.
