How sad it is closed, I hope it is tempora. When there were events in the city and I was visiting, it was a safe stop, some beers and I was always looking for the company of a girl close to the area or who was looking for me with my cell on the Web. I hope they open it soon, I'm about to go, but it will be time to change the environment.

Walked around Valpo last night and found some seedy bars with chicas dancing. These thick ladies ranged from 3 (no kidding) to 6. Reminded me of northern Wisconsin clubs. I didn't ask but was told the session price is 7 mil pesos or about ten bucks. Beers in these clubs were about half that price. The higher end club in town is Amsterdam and plan to check that out later today.

Been a while since anyone updated, so I can confirm that today I visited the Institucion Corporale (sp?) which is at 207 or 209 Valparaiso street (in Vina Del Mar!), with a small but clear sign above the door.

Went mid-day and there were 3 girls there, quite young and average (one a bit too thin, two a bit too thick). 40 k was the charge, plus something extra for the girl. Room was not very clean and the toilet area didn't have any soap.

Finally getting around to the update on my 4-day Valpo and Viña trip. Besides Kurvas and Fashion Show mentioned in prior post there is a third cabaret or strip club in Viña called Premium Bar. It is in a little alley off of Valparaiso Street just west of the main Plaza de Vina, at Paseo Cousiño N° 12, 3rd floor. When I stopped by there were only 3 or 4 chicas and none remotely attractive, but it might be worth a look; Chilean mongers on estokada seem to like it. I also confirmed that in the strip clubs with VIP rooms not all girls provide FS, but they were up front about it. Ask before buying her the expensive drinks.

There are also at least a dozen small café/cabarets in the Viña red light district near these three nicer clubs. The smaller cafes are different in that there does not appear to be on-site service. Daytime cafes and the small night clubs with chicas seem to offer only the possibility of buying a girl a drink for the equivalent of $5 to $20 and chatting for 30 minutes, possibly with some kissing and fondling. Obviously you can always discuss take-out. It's a weird aspect of Chilean mongering culture that many guys seem to spend a lot of money just to sit with these chicas in their bikinis or whatnot and buy them expensive drinks. For take-out in Viña there is a convenient motel called Paramor (get it?) on Von Schroeder north of Arlegui, on your right as you walk towards the Casino. A decent room can be had there for as little as 7000 pesos, or about fifteen dollars US, for two hours. I had an excellent session there with a hot Kurvas girl after closing time, Rio quality, and gave her 50, 000 pesos.

Also, the daytime Viña massage place discussed in earlier posts on the 200 block of Valparaiso Street is still there.

Valparaiso's cabarets are clustered around the Plazuela Anibal Pinto, where there are also lots of regular bars with live music. The one place equivalent to Kurvas in Vina seems to be Stop Secret, at Salvador Donoso 1445. Chica drinks in the VIP room are 20, 000 pesos according to laestokada report in October 2011. Significantly less than in Viña, but not clear what the service levels are.

These clubs seem to open and close, and change names, frequently. Most of the clubs listed on WorldTravel's list are no longer around or have changed names, and even the laestokada map linked in prior post is not entirely reliable. On the other hand the areas are still the same and the clubs are easy to spot from the street. There is no cover charge anywhere, so there is not much to lose by going in and looking around. Didn't try the escort service.

I met a few chicas who spoke some English, but mongering in Viña and Valparaiso is much better if you can speak some Spanish.

Chile may not be a budget monger destination, but the strip clubs ('cabarets') in Vina are worth a visit. Fashion Girl at #166 Traslavina (between Arlegui and Valparaiso) and Kurvas (on the second floor in a mall on Arlegui between Echeverts and Villanela) both had some real talent. Others are discussed on the local mongers' discussion forum, laestokada. CL, en espanol. Both clubs mentioned have signs visible from the street. Fashion Girl was smaller, about 6 to 8 girls, ranging from 6 to 8 in looks. Drinks are about 5, 000 pesos I. E. $10 US. To buy a girl a drink is 15, 000 pesos ($30 US) then for a private room with FS is another 50, 000 ($100 US). I decided to pass, although two little spinners looked very tempting, and went on to Kurvas.

Both clubs seem to open around 8:00 or 9:00 pm and stay open until 5 a. M. Or so. Not much action until after 10:00.

Great vibe at Kurvas, more frequent dances and 12 to 15 girls on a Saturday night. Both clubs follow the common practice of featuring an occasional one or two two-song strip show with 3 to? Songs in between with no dancers on stage. At Kurvas the strip shows all ended fully nude, so you can check out the talent before buying. Drinks here were a bit less, about 4, 000CP for a beer. 10, 000CP for chica drink. 15, 000CP chica drink gets you into the VIP lounge where little more than DFK happens. For fully private room with champagne and FS the price tag is 60, 000CP, I. E. About $120 US. Went for it, and this was well worth it in my opinion. There were several 8's and arguably 9's to choose from. I wasn't looking for GFE at the time and got fully covered service but with some time invested in the bar to find the girl with the right vibe, anything may be possible. Kurvas impressed me as nicer with a better selection of more attractive girls. Will return to both later to compare.
