Alright here is the scoop on the Nightlife scene here. I know Perry Mason has put some info In The Other Areas Section on this. I know He Mentioned a strip Club in Merida and some bars But here is my info>>>>> Here is one place to go THE CLOVER BAR>>>>> Clover is a lively,smoky bar that plays loud rock and salsa and sometimes has live music. It is frequnted by students and young folks and is often packed solid,particulary after 1 A.M. When El Hoyo patrons move here. THE CLOVER BAR is on AVE. 4 between Calles 14 and 15. The El Hoyo Del Queque is at the Corner of Ave. 4 and Calle 19. It is The best Bar in Centro and Very Trendy. The Next place then I know about is Alfredos Bar it is on Ave. 4 by Calle 19. It seems like all these places are nearby walking distance. To all My Studying I have done on Merida it seems like The Cuzco of Venezuela. I am just confused Why AIDS Is The highest Here. Is It cause students are IGNORANT. To Perry or others>>> Did anyone find any info on SWS Here? Do The Yellow Pages of Merida have Ads for Escorts or Massage Places? How Many Ads in the local Merida Paper for Sex Services? Maybe I make a Part 3 on Merida soon. One other thing I would like to find out is there more then just one Damn strip Club in Merida?

Perry Mason and others I will make another post soon on this city. It seems to also have quite a nightlife scene in Centro. I will post What I know on this city in my next post and I still owe a Part 2 post on Merida. I am also lokking for info on how to safely go to Cucuta Colombia on Bus from Venezuela.

Merida is arguably Venezuelas most popular destination among foreign backpackers. It has unhurried and friendly atmosphere,plenty of tourist facilities,the famous teleferico and is surrounded by beautiful mountains,including the countrys rooftop Pico Bolivar just 12 KM Away. It is Venezuelas Major Center for outdoor activities. Home to the large Universidad De Los Andes. Merida has a sizeable academic community that gives it a cultured and bohemian air. The City enjoys a Mild Average Tempature of 66 Degrees Year Round. This is part One on What I know of Merida.
