Rumors in the Dutch/Surinamese media are going arround that the US army needs a new base to try equipment for jungle activity. Their base in Ecuador is being closed down in 2008.
So the US is looking for maybe such a place in Suriname. The US denies that they ahvebeen talking with the SR government but the Suriname Government confirmed that they have been approached by the Americans for such a militairy base. Well anyone knows Suriname is a poor country so if Uncle Sam is showing some mayor greenbacks i can imagine they are willing to accept such an US militairy base in Suriname.

If this realy happens i expect much more monger activities and larger number of hookies in the country.
On the other hand....i am afraid that prices will go up even more if GI Joe is coming into town:-(

WHATS UP ON THIS SCENE MIster Crown???

Well, Nickerie is nothing compared to Paramaribo. That's for sure. However, for worldtravellers it should be nice to try it too.
Have spoken to a friend who was there a week before Easter and he told me it rocks. I just had the bad luck that the police had raided the brothels so it wasn't a great experience last time.

i agree suriname people in general are very friendly and the chicas are hot and yummy...and they come in all kinds of colours and varities;-)
javanese,bush negro (i am sorrry but this word is used officialy...so it's not my invention) creole people,hindustani peeps and even chinese. offcourse there are also a small amount of whites in suriname. in general most suriname people speak/understand english pretty well. offcourse dutch is offic
in holland there are about 300.000 (!) suriname people living....so if any sr. honey would be trying to get a green card or a visa it would probably be with a dutch guy;-)

the food is great and cheap...thats true.....

but all in all i wouldn't spend that much money just to go monger there.....it aint worth it.

The Biggest Problem is getting to Suriname. It is indeed very expensive and thus many people prefer to go somewhere else.

I haven't been to other countries in South America, but I think that the living standard of the people here isn't that bad at all compared to other SA countries (based on what makes television). Prices of houses, hotels etc are higher than what I've read on other threads on this forum. The food is great and cheap.The people are also very friendly. But mongering will cost you a lot more than what I've read on other ISG threads.

In addition to that, we have a small population and most people are more focused on Dutch speaking persons, so chances that the women will fall for some American dude (no offence off course) are not that big. If you go to the pro-scene, wou will find NO Surinamese women and it doesn't matter what language you speak as long as you pay the money.

There are other countries with less people (Islands in the carribean) which are very popular mongering destinations BUT they are easier to travel to and offer more tourism-related activities than Suriname.

So going to Suriname is great if you like to add another country to your mongering list but if you are looking for very cheap stuff, you might be deeply disappointed.

trust me...Suriname is NOT worth the extra hussle. Airfares would be pretty costly. Outside paramaribo there isnt'much to do anyways. Even from Holland airfare is about a 1000 euros (ouchhh!)..or more:-(
I realy think you'd be better off in lets say Colombia,Ecuador,Venezuela or Brasil women wise. Suriname just is a very small country with a small amount on hookies. Besides that it isn't particulary cheap!!
Going by land from venezuela you'd first have to cross Guyana....and i hear them busses sometimes get robbed.

I am A Man That Usually When I Travel Monger on over a 1000 A Month But When Am stuck just staying many months like in Lima Peru I Did I Monger on 800 a month.. IN LIma I lived good for nearly 4 years Actually Yeh Maybe over 4 years on 800 A Month.. I would love to do Suriname one day That would Rule for Sure.. In Lima I can stay usually at Cheap places very easy from 3 to 7 dollars average.. Anyways I even Here Now IN Suriname is a Good Rock and Heavy Metal Scene evloving but I can Hang out At Discotecas that play Crap Music too.. Damn If You Convince me enough I can Hit Suriname after I hit Panama And Costa Rica in Janurary but I would need to know after Going thru Central America if Suriname is feasible.. Hey Mr Crown - thanks for update - definitely bought back memories. I did find the Columbians much easier and more attractive- did you say that they are still some in Condor?

Shame I don't speak a word of Dutch & Portugese- I found my English was ok with them- the girls were pretty keen to learn a few words.

About the Chinese girls in Suriname- mainly shop keepers - although alot have no interest with the locals or are protected (by the mafia? ) - I was lucky enough to have one who took a hugh interest in me as I was a foreigner dressed in a business suit. (prob the only guy to wear a jacket there? )

I was wondering was there any clubs where you can find nice Chinese girls - I heard there were places where chinese girls are available but its only for the knowing! They sing and dance and also will perform.

When I was there - I was picked up by a chinese shop assistant - I would not have normally gone for a chinese as most are petite and small - I like them voluptuous- anyway this was a little different - she had big boobs and nice face- but was small ish - that said - I thought at first it was a joke but then when she came over to my place- we immediately were tearing each other's clothes off - thats how hot she was- we had fantastic times together- she would bathe me - sing to me - and then want to do french and have sex all night and all morning we did this for a couple of months - she started as a virgin - but she wanted a guy to shag her everyday- I managed it most days but eventually needed my privacy as work was priority. We spoke none of each other's languages-however she found a simple English-Chinese translator and I bought over a couple of dictionaries- it was fun while it lasted. I just had to break off as I began to fear her family-people that she worked with-as they used to get annoyed with her for coming over to me.

So I guess the moral of the story is that - Local Chinese girls are in abundance there too - try them out if you want to - you never know she may take an interest in you too-but be prepared to talk in sign language as alot of them don't speak anything else but mandarin.

Anyway when I'm there we can meet up and share - I have a couple of friends there also - been there a while- who have been in and out of the clubs- so it will be good to catch up.

Basically, things haven't changed a lot since the last time you were here.
It would be like "welcome home" for you.

Concerning Columbians in Diamond: I started going to clubs as a hobby for more than a year now and up till now I have seen NO Columbians there.

Most Diamond girls are from Brasil. I say "most" because they had 3 or 4 Dominican girls working there lately,whom have left already (if I'm not mistaken).

Condor is very popular for it's stripshows on Friday and Saturday. On wednesday they usually have them also, but if you go one of the other nights, the place is dead. Just a couple of girls and a handfull of guys (drinking, talking business etc).
The girls in Condor are far more beautiful than Diamonds.Maybe because they can house only a few girls, Condor is more selective?

The other popular Club is Aventura, near the big Hotels and nightlife centre.

I am a Diamond guy, meaning I've done it mostly with their girls.There are some very ugly and fat ones, but also very nice and sweet babes.

If you want another girl every time you visit, then take my advice: NEVER go with the same girl twice! They remember you, even if you come back after 2 or 3 weeks. (maybe it depends how you treated them.) If you went with her for 2 or 3 times, she'll see you as her b/f and you can forget about other dishes. They'll then give you their cell phone number and expect you to call 'em.

Brazilian girls are very sweet.I had some who fell in love and even wanted me to marry them!

If you're looking for a GFE in a club, make a good selection, so you won't have to replace her for another "namorada". We're not looking for any drama.

And also yes, there are groups of girls who don't talk to eachother and try to "steal" eachothers customers. But then again, that is just business.

One more thing: On sundays most girls go to Club Novo. It's a Braz. dancing. You can pick them up at closing time and bring them there.(note that the road is bad).

Local girls: For a foreigner (=white guy) it would be easy to get a girl, especially if you're from the Netherlands.

Only 4 Posts???? Where Did YOU GO?????

Guys, I am about to go back to Suriname in next few months to work - was there 2000-2001 and again very briefly last year for 1 week.

So any advice would be appreciated - We used to pass through Diamonds, Condor, and there was another club some where near some new housing estate-I guess there are alot of new faces in town. Are there Columbians and other nationalities still in Diamonds?

Seeing your post Mr Crown reminds me of the good times I had there- definitely some good girls but there were some very ugly ones - strange that they seem to be attracted to the English guys I went with.

My main attraction is the big boob girls - slim waist and nice face. I found several - I had great times with them - however they can become too clingy and get abit expensive- I used to meet up with them on their off-days and take them out etc. I didn't mind that as I was able to afford it - however you have to keep in mind they are just your shag-dolls and nothing more.

It does not surprise me about the rates goung up - however alot of the girls will have fun with you outside the 'club' restrictions - sometimes for no money- Thats what I found - as long as you give them your attention and treat them well they will oblige in the trouser department.

Clubs and night spots are beaming with girls looking for one-night stands and relationships - alot of guys there are doing it - but you need to take care and check the girl out before committing as jail in Suriname is HELL

Another Killer Report DUDE....

Saturday 26th august 2006: Lingerie Night in Diamond.

The place was crowded like hell, propably because of the now good road.Maybe it was also announced on the radio (though I didn't hear it).

I was wondering why there were so many cars parked outside and when I entered the club I saw the reason. Dudes, I've seen these nights before, but this time there were far more people than in the past.

I decided to stay the entire night overthere. This would cost US$ 100 or SRD 300. If ou take her to your place it would be SRD 350.

Well, I was surprised. They now charge you SRD 350, whether you take the girl to your place or stay in her own room. Because of "higher exploitation costs" as they told me. Yeah right.

This annoyed me a little since I'm a frequent guest. Most guys who go over there, simply go to drink and look at the girls. They still do good business, but what I'm trying to say is: many people and many clients are 2 completely different things.
Anyhow, it still was nice to look at the girls walking in their lingerie and since my favorite girl helped me to make it a great night afterall, I'll still go there.
