The coldness was probably due to a fault in the heating system on that Sunday. It was OK the Saturday before that. I had been to World in past winters when it was snowing and it was still better than in Sharks in winter as the rooms upstairs in Sharks were uncontrollably cold, and even the main bar area was also cold.

World actually has a good heating system, and there were only short spells of coldness when some idiot opened the door facing the pool.

So, the answer to your question would depend on whether they could rectify the heating system by the time of your visit.

Thanks for the quick reply. In which case I have to hope someone visits and posts before next week to update on it. It's a long trek from Frankfurt. I don't drive to clubs so train to Giessen then cab then expensive taxi back. So I don't want to be doing that only to get into the club for 15 minutes be cold and decide to have to return. Think I might play safe and spend one night in Mainhattan and another two in Sharks. I've never felt cold in Sharks and have been there in winter. In which case I might not feel so cold in World! Bit worrying this report about the cold. I'm a tourist and hadn't been to World for some 2 years until a recent visit. I like the club and the outdoors are exceptional in good weather. But obviously its now heading to winter and the notion of the club being very cold inside is not persuading me to attend on my upcoming trip. Thought of going here next Thursday early evening.
