The regional train from Frankfurt HBF to Giessen HBF recently cost me 13, 50 euros. There are busses 375 and occasionally 372 that will get you to Garbertieh Sportptatz, although I personally have never used a bus. My most recent taxi from Giessen HBF to FKK World cost 19 euros one way. Expect the driver to be delighted when you tell him you wants to go to World. He will follow you inside to get his free look at the ladies near the lobby and to get his 10 euro "delivery fee".

An alternative route that I use is to take the HLB (Hessische Landesbahn) train from Giessen HBF on platform 12 for 2, 00 euros. You will go 9 minutes and 3 stops to the small station at Garbenteich. This is the closest you can get to World by train. It will be a full 30 minute walk through the small villages of Garbenteich and Pohleim to World at the other end. Print a map on somewhere like Google maps ahead of time to work your way through the streets. I enjoy this walk on a nice day, but , or course, it may not be your thing. Bahn.de will have all the details you need if you have time to check online ahead.

I had my small pocket camera on the last trip while walking.
