A member of one of the forums made a good point on this: Why drive 40 minutes there for a quickie when you can probably get it more locally where you are? The advantage that World was its large space, nice interior where you could easily spend the whole day, enjoy beer at night, BBQs during the summer. A real shame.

And now they want to turn it into truckstop brothel with pricing policy like Ryanair. If I wanted to go to Dietzenbach, I would go to Dietzenbach.

World did well enough when it had a quality roster of high class ladies. But that was nearly a decade ago and World has struggled in recent years. I doubt that business will improve by moving the entire club in a further down market direction.

They created more rooms downstairs, the new business model is nothing included only 2 towels, they want to have more short time customers. Let see if this can work in the countryside. Many guys were spending the whole day there drinking and eating with few or even 0 room, now they will have to pay for the food, drinks.

Naeh. Big clubs shouldn't wait. Otherwise, they may not be so big anymore soon. They must imo start small. Scale up gracefully. Pretty much like World is showing. And many others too.

IMHO clubs can open and they will survive in the present scenario. clubs need time to come back to the track.

Looks like if things are this way, the only good news it that there is no longer the temptation for me to travel all the way to Gieen.

Indeed, and for the 10 euro 2 towels are included, you need more, then it is +2 euro per towel.

There's little doubt that the clubs that relied on foreign clientele cannot compete at the moment. Mainhattan and Palace in Frankfurt may run into some trouble if they reopen and they don't cater to locals.

Honestly, they could do that I think.

Not for Mainhattan they are also owned by the HA.

IMHO small clubs can open and they will survive in the present scenario. Big clubs need more time to come back to the old track.

Well covid might represent a significant power shift. Think about it: LR and GT are currently not even on the map anymore. But before they were 2 of the top thriving clubs in DE-Clubland.

IF a they can pull in a great representation of working girls, I am ok to travel into the "middle-of nowhere" (Giessen).

For sure they have the same owners the HA, they need a washing machine but this is true for many other FKK. It is not a normal business but this is difficult to make it understand by many mongers on this forum.
