I do agree with you, I also think that Moldova can not compete with Cuba, Thailand and Philippines. In general do I think it is much easier to meet women in these 3 countries compare with Moldova.

I have been to Pattaya, Thailand its like a candy store, you will love it at the first couple days, then you will get bored, everything is very easy and open, and you don't meet women, you just buy them for the day. You lok at the selection, pick one or more, pay a fee, take the girl, and if you saw a prettier girl you let this one go and get the other one, normal bar in a busy season would have 10 girls for 1 guy, off season 20 to 1. There is no hunting or happy unexpected surprises like in Cuba, which is half of the fun.

I have been to Cuba twice, once to Holguin which has lighter skin, and one to Havana which is a big mix, I had lots of fun there because I look like them, I'm originally Egyptian, I was even paying Cuban prices at the bars since I don't have to talk when getting a beer, so for a white guys its a hassle as women are scared from the cops, and you see cops even on the beach too. So I think now its my turn getting the unwanted attention in Moldova, but I'm optimistic and hopefully I will have fun, and if it got boring or not fun then its 5 hours and I'm in Odessa.

Not surprising at all. Based on my experience, Moldova really is not for p4p. It is however for serious relationships. Of course, there are the semipros and one porno star that tried to hookup with me while I was propositioning an innocent looking village kiosk vender in the center. But that is really the exception to the rule!

Also not speaking Russian males it tougher. I found English speaking girls very rare.

I am now in Medellin and I will post a report as soon as I am back to the states.

Hi, I know there's a spoiler in the title, but really, it's worth it!

So, let's get on with my second day / night in Chisinau. I believe you don't care about my breakfast and my waking up all alone, so I'll just skip to the good part. You may have read everywhere on the internet that Moldova is the poorest country of Europe. I did, anyway. Some time ago, I traveled to Poland an I found it a very cheap country where everything is available for prices lower then you can imagine. Moldova being poorer (average income is said to be around 250 EUR, at least five times less than in France) I expected for the cost of life to follow the same curve. Well, it's absolutely true. Restaurants and bars are the cheapest I've ever seen in Europe. But goods are even more expensive than in Berlin, London or Paris. For instance, a pair of Hugo Boss jeans is 2800 lei (182 EUR) when you can buy them 140 EUR (99 on sale) on their web site. This may be shocking to you : "Don't expect Moldova to be cheap". I found better deals in the center of Paris or London!

As my shopping spree ended very quickly, I was left with nothing else to do than chat with girls on the internet (Badoo is the way to go). I must admit that I did better than yesterday. One particular girl even talked to me for more than 2 hours. And got me late for my evening meal (alone). But anyway, she was nice, spoke English and gave me "updated" info on Chisinau's night life.

Following her advice, I went for a bite at Andy's Pizza on Stefan cel Mare, by the University (as I got kicked out of the one near my hotel. Too late). They didn't have any english menu, so I ordered a safe bet : a calzone. The pizza was good, but why on earth were there mushrooms! And one more thing, don't even think of finishing your meal with a "Colonel" (lemon sorbet with vodka!) they don't have lemon flavour, and they only have ice cream (with cream). I tried pineapple / vodka, but it was a disaster.

So following the directions of my webpal, I went to Lava bar. Of course, I got there before midnight, and I thought for a while I would be the only costumer. And then they came. The first two girls to come in were absolutely divine (I told you my opinion on local girls last time). And the good thing about clubbing is that they actually "rock their bodies"! The third women came with an older guy, but she had such a nice round ass, I couldn't stop staring.

So I introduced myself to these two young girls. One of them was wearing a tight white dress, with "Love" written all over, so short I could see her red panties. But again, I was cut short by the language barrier. Later in the night, when the place started to be ca bit more crowded (around 2 am) , one of these girls drank a shot on the other's belly. I told you I would keep you updated on my time spent in Moldavia. So here comes my report.

My first night was a complete and total bust!

I cannot emphasize enough how lame I found myself. This is how it all happened :

I booked a room in hotel Cosmos, piata Negruzzi 2. I took the economy room, because I figured that if a girl follows you to your hotel, the only thing she'll want to visit is the bed. The room can simply be described as "old", except for the bathroom that must have been renovated a short time ago. But you still have all modern comfort : wi-fi internet as well as a fridge and an air conditioner both from the time of the Berlin wall.

As I have internet (in case you were wondering how I write this report) , I decided to chat up some local girls on all the possible dating sites available. I tried simpatie. Ro and badoo. Com. Filtered the online girls and started to chat in english and french (copy / paste helped a lot). That's when I hit my first wall! Out of all the (over 50) girls I initiated a conversation with. Only two girls answered. And in these two girls, one actually told me to "f*k off, you perv*t". I wonder how she knew?

So here I am stuck with my one and only. It should not even matter as you can rarely arrange a date with more than on girl at the time if you want to make a good first impression. We agree to meet at Mac Donald's on Stefan Cel Mare. I'm still waiting for her to show up!

So after a waiting time of about an hour (I took the opportunity to eat something) , I decided to go and check out the night life of the Moldovan parks.

So there I was roaming around the streets, and that's when I realized something : Moldova is the only country where the mannequins look worse than the real deal. In every other country I have been to, the mannequin is the expression of the perfect female body, but here. The real females score two "big" points. I mean that if Moldova had exported it's female standards, Wonderbra would've bankrupted. My god, aren't all these girls pretty. 9 out 10 where mini shorts or skirts, and when I say mini, I mean they can't be shorter. They all have long and sexy legs that they let out for the world to see, and these breasts. It makes me wish I had bigger hands.

Now that I'm fully aroused, I decide to go clubbing. And how great, my hotel is right next to "Soho Nightclub". Or it says so on the city map. I thought it might be a better choice in case I had to bring back a girl to my hotel for it to be nearby. But after desperately searching for the club entrance, for at least half an hour, tired of not finding it and of seeing absolutely no one in the streets, I settled for the "Art club" a karaoke bar, that is apparently a good place to find local girls (read that somewhere on this thread). I guess the bouncer has a real lack of taste. As he told me it was reservation only, and gently showed me the way out.

So now I'm left with the hotel hall which is supposed to host a few old hookers (read it on TripAdvisor!). But even there I'm disappointed. Not a soul in the lobby. Not even the guard that I'm supposed to ask if no one's here. So what can I do now. I guess I'm stuck with Essi's reports of girls literally throwing themselves at him and have nice wet dreams involving the divine beauties I saw today.

Maybe I'll do better tomorrow. Will keep you guys updated.

Silk Rouyt, it is a fantastic and great report you have made. I very much like your honest report. The things will most likely be much better when you have been in Moldova 2 or 3 times. I guess you have run into problems with "sex tourist paranoia" in Chisinau. About "Soho Nightclub" (later name people) , this nightclub have been closed in several years. That is the reason why you not could find it.

Do not give up on your holiday, it can still be better. I look very much forward to read more reports about your Chisinau trip.

I have decide that I will make a series of reports about Moldova, where the target group is the 50+ "first time male tourist" who is thinking about coming to Moldova and meet Moldova women.

How can you know if my "expert principle" will work? You can not know. Of course can I not provide a guarantee for success. You must not forget that Western men have many advantages. Western men are in general modern, educated men with a good job. Many western men are also stable men. All this is a big plus. But just as in Ukraine do some Moldovan women also perceive Western men as boring and weak, and some Moldovan women do simply not respect western men. I have decide that I will make a series of reports about Moldova, where the target group is the 50+ "first time male tourist" who is thinking about coming to Moldova and meet Moldova women.

I am private person, so I will only write in generally. I will never post photo of girls I meet in Moldova. Because personally do I think this is part of the girl and my private life. Best advice is to re-read older posts here. You will get a lot of information needed but my prediction for your freebie hunting is not great! It takes a trip or two to get "street and girl wise" in Chisinau. And its true that once the student girls are gone the city can be very dead! I was there over easter this year and it was DEAD! If you look like a horny newcomer in town and got no reason to be there (ofcourse you should tell semi-lies about you're there for work and will come back several times in 2007) you will have a hard time hitting on sweet young girls. Looks and age doesn't matter that much! But skills with EE girls does! I knew some foreign students, who are young and ok looking and ofcourse knows all about Chisinau, and they have to work hard for their girls. They go home single from the clubs nearly always! Its true that you can spend loads of cash on the girls like some guys do, take them out to a disco, and try to charm them and you will have a better chance. Your wallet get hut and it will probaly still take 2-3 dates to shag. It is also frequent to be taken for a ride, like when the girls "give you a kiss and say thank you very much for a good time and we meet tomorrow my boyfriend" and they have to go home from the disco. The day after they won't answer when you call them. And the girl can go to the bar or disco and get her profit on the drinks you bought for her.

I guess that there are many reasons. I guess that some girls want to meet western men, but when they have made a date with a western man, do they get nervous and end up with not coming to the date. I have also been thinking that some girls maybe are busy with meeting many men or simply very busy with work and housework. Many young Moldovan women do still live home together with there father and mother, and I guess, that this also sometimes can give girls problems with keeping times and appointments. Another main reason to this problem is if the girl does not speak English at all, and you do not speak Russian or Romanian. In this case will the Moldovan girl typical try to find a girlfriend who speaks English. If she not can find a girlfriend who speak English will she most likely not show up to the date, because she in this case will be nervous about how the date shall go if she not speak English and you not speak Russian or Romanian. So one way to reduce the number of girls who does not show up to the date is simply only to make date with girls who at least speak some little English or alternative to say to the non-English speaking women that you will take a friend with you, who can make translation while you have the date. At last must you also not forget that some girls, who make chat on Internet, are "chat junkies" who only just want to make chat and do not have an intension about meeting you at the date.

3) Are you looking for a "sex for money" relationship, including one-night stand with a "sex for money" plan.

4) Are you looking after a long-term girlfriend in what you can call a "freebee relationship" where you not are "helping" your girlfriend.

5) Are you looking after free one-night stands (freebee).

6) Are you willing to make a long series with dates on expenses restaurants and disco.

A western man should use the dating situation to achieve 5 goals. First he shall use the dating to make a screening of the women he meets, so he can deselect all the party girls, scam-girls and gold-digger. This is important to do this. For the second shall he also use the dating to find out to what extent the Moldovan woman's goals match the goals he has. It could be elements like how active a sex life should there be, shall it be short term or long term relationship, shall there be a sponsor element in the long-term relationship or not, and so on. Goal number 3 is that he shall get an impression of the Moldovan woman's personality and goal number 4 is that he shall find out if the Moldovan woman is a "Green Card Girl". Even my good friend, a very experienced hunter, is being scammed sometimes. Or atleast the girls try to scam him. In New York my friend started to get suspicious when she ordered fresh juice instead of normal juice. Fantastic girl! As I wrote. He already suspected this girl to be a scammer!

Inside of People, which is a stylish and cold snobbish club where the jet set in chisinau tries to flash their wealth in the fanciest possible way. We stood up at the fence on the terasse. He asked her if she wanted a drink and she replied that first of all she has to sit down and then she wants to drink. She insisted on a sofa for 250 lei. When my friend told that he want to stand up she became colder and he could not touch her anymore. She then took of her jacket to show her revealed large assets under the blouse. Not even this made my friend toss up cash for a sofa and all of a sudden she told him she had to go home. She insited him on following her to the outside but my friend wanted to say goodbye inside. Knowing that she only did this to get money from him for the taxi back home (or to her boyfriend). This is often how it can be and the girls knows about this game very well. They want you to spend money on them! Otherwise not even a kiss! And a lot of these scammers get 25% commission of what the stupid foreigner pays for her. Its hard business!

By the way I can not recommend people at all! Its a snobbish place where girls almost are ashamed of talking to foreigners! Its a place for the rich local elite! Very hard to approach girls! And you will see many tables where 1000's of leis are spend on drinks and snacks! IMO this new disco people will do a lot of damage and will spoil the Chisinau girls even more! This club should be closed imedeately! What a shit-place! Put on the avoid list unless you have an innocent date you want to take there to impress her. (all the girls favorite disco is ofcourse people) There are definetely money in Chisinau today and the girls don't need us that much anymore. After having been inside people I realised that Moldova will soon be what Romania is of today. I'm going to change my arena for hunting!

Off course does she not keep her promise and only thing the male tourist is getting is "an empty wallet" and "no sex". Please note the typical layout of the scam, the woman promises a lot, the man believe the woman's promises, giving her a lot of money and / or gifts. Women keep naturally not her promises, and runs far away, so the man can not come in contact with her.

About goal number two, to find out to what extent the Moldovan woman's goals match the goals he has, is just to say that I sometimes need to make directly talk find out if this is the case. All will depend of the situation. You shall notice one problem. It is my personally experience that Moldovan women can be very tactical, so it actual can take me very long time before I actual have found out what intension the Moldovan women did have. I have often only found out what intension the Moldovan women did have, after I have made sex with the Moldovan women. This have lead to the screening process and goals match process both can be very time consuming and burdensome, and make it necessary to meet and "have action with" several Moldovan women before I have found a good long-term girlfriend.

About goal number 3 is it important to try to find out if the Moldovan girl is a nice, tender, lovely, kind, sweet, simple, open-minded, relaxed, well-balanced, honest and easy-going women. But of course shall you also try to find if the women you are dating is a heartless, rudely aggressive, lying and telling lies, manipulative, emotionally unstable, big drinker who drinks a lot, has big mood swings, cold personality. All this can put up the red flags. Other factors who I also think can set some red flags, are if the girl not have been working or studying in long period (1 or 2 years). Another factor that can set up a red flag is if she without you has asked her, begins to talk hateful and says horrible things about her exes (former boyfriends or former husband). This can also put up a red flag in my book.

About goal number 4 that is to find out if the Moldovan woman is a "Green Card Girl". This is a very difficult goal. The problem with "Green Card Girl" is that it is a very serious and dangerous kind of scam, where the Moldovan women pretend that she love you and want to married you in a one year time frame. The problem is that she from day one plan to divorce you when she has got her citizenship or permanent "green card" in the new country. A "Green Card Girl" can be the beginning of a nightmare for you. There can be some warning signs, but I must also admit that I am not an expert in the "Green Card Girl" problem. But some of the warning signs could be:

- If she insist on a very quick married, and will not accept that you have a boyfriend – girlfriend relationship in at least a 2 to 3 year period, even if you offer to "help her" in this period.

- If she very much want quickly to move to your home country.

- If the Moldovan women have several (2, 3 or 4) divorce behind her.

- If you not are introduced to her friends and / or you not are introduced to her family.

- If you pick a woman off a dating and marriage web site especially made for western men in English can this increase the risk for her being a "Green Card Girl". The same problem can also occur if you pick a woman off a sex-chat-porn web site.

- If you find out that she still is meeting her "former" boyfriend. This could mean big problems.

When you made the date shall you also try to find out if she is a "400 euro sponsor girl". With this do I mean that she demand very big "help" from you, and want that you help her with something like 400 euro every month. First at all is this level (400 euro every month) a stupid high level, which is not at all necessary. A normally level would be 100 to 200 euro every month (all inclusive). The problem with the 400 euro level is that attracts the wrong type of Moldovan women (party girls, scam-girls and gold-digger). A type of Moldovan women who very easily can transform your relationship into a "living hell", and you end up with a relationship with no GFE and only having a "bad" time.

Please notices that even if you (as a 50+ man) begin a long-term relationship with a young Moldovan women where you only give a moderate level of "help" (100 to 200 euro every month) and you have a good relationship with good GFE, can there be a risk that the relationship in its final phase before it end, can degenerate to an empty shell where the Moldovan girl tried to run an "end phase" scam. With this do I mean, that after maybe a 1 to 3 year period with a good time and a lot of GFE, begins the Moldovan woman to think that you are stupid and boring. This is typically indicated and shown by that she suddenly begin to have a lot of excuses for not being together with you when you are in Chisinau, Moldova. The excuses can be all, from strictly necessary family trip to Tiraspol, the grandmother's illness, to long-planned vacation with friends in Odessa. These excuses will often have the character of BS stories. Normally would a women in this situation quickly drop the relationship, but the "end phase" scam is simply that the Moldovan women do not want to drop the relationship because of the "help" (100 to 200 euro every month) , instead, will she continue to make excuses for not being together with you and she'll be still less and less together with you. In some cases, can the Moldovan woman even think of just leaving from you without first talking with you about it and she will not pick up the phone when you try to call her. You would first get an explanation when she comes back to Chisinau. Her goal is obvious that she can continue to receive your "help" without the need for her to be together with you. If you think you are the victim of an "end phase" scam is it very important that you have a serious talk with your long-term girlfriend. If the problems after the talk still continue can it simply be necessary that you end the relationship. You should not expect that she suddenly become "reasonable" and she herself ends the relationship. I have personally been in situations where I have had a suspicion about being victims of an "end phase" scam and I know it is not an easy situation. Sometimes does a Moldovan girl also start an "end phase" scam if she comes to the conclusion that you do not want to married her and have children with her. Some Moldovan women can have strong reactions on this issue.
