Here are my experienc from Moldova. To be honest, I think many people come with too many expectations, generally speaking. Of course there are a lot of poor people but there are also very rich in terms of foreigners, businessmen, various mafia guys.

If you come to Moldova only to find working girls, I think you may be disappointed. There are clearly better places to go and as already mentioned a thousand times, most working girls have gone to, for example, the FKK clubs in Germany etc. When they come home, they want to live ordinary life, show themselves special, successful and not "work" as a working girl.

The bar and nightlife is surprisingly good. Usually full of people at the bar and nightclub area and I had a real great time there. However, I think it is difficult to find working girls at these bars in general. There are 2-3 high end bars, one of which has a very strict dress code (can't remember the name). Here you can definitely find many girls looking for sponsors if you have the time and money to spend. Which is not very common that tourists might have, at least not the time.

There are some more famous places where working girls tend to hang out. I saw this myself but did not have the time to investigate this further. I had a fantastic time in Chisinau and outside the city. But again, I think you should have an open mind and not just come to Chisinau to look for girls. Anyway, this is a forum for Mongers. My final words are that there are definitely working girls to be found. But I would probably place Moldova as a great place for vacation in general, where you can have a lot of fun with bar life and partying rather than a place to primarily find working girls.

In my opinion, Kyiv is the best city I have visited for finding working girls. But that is another story that should be taken in another forum section.

I tried going to hotels that are called brothels by the reviews, and I was outright told that wasn't true. Hotel Gold Lion looks like it's clearly a brothel or was with the erotic artwork. But, I didn't see any girls there. I saw open rooms with flower petals on the floor, like someone used the room and got VIP treatment and left when they finished. But, that doesn't mean that a hooker living at the hotel used it.

Official statistics says that Moldova is the poorest country in Europe. However that ddoed not it should be easy mongering wise. The only good strategy is a long stay, apartments are cheap, food is cheap. It would be wise to go to clubs & find local guy.

Finally made it to a private apartment with Vika from one of the more famous websites. She texted like crazy, which should have been my first warning. 3000 for two shots one hour. Methods tried:

Online websites: All want at least €150 or more. Never made it beyond a message back. Seems like a scam to me.

Mamba: Decent website. Met some girls there but it take a while to get through and find someone that responds. Look for stuff that says stuff like seeking generous men or girls that have their age range open from 18-80. You can waste a lot of time looking for someone here.

Badoo: I really just don't previous posters being successful with this. I got one girl to message me on there asking for €200. Didn't bother. That's the only message I have gotten from there so far.

999: This is a gamble. It's almost like meeting someone from Craigslist because you likely aren't looking at a real photo and it is just luck of the draw if you get someone decent.

Stripclubs: I tried two: The secret and up and down. The secret had a few patrons, and up and down had none. There are menus with various high prices on them for services which aren't really described. Felt like a tourist trap so I did not spend the money.

I think other places are much easier, but if you decide to come here you have to do a lot of work in order to be successful. It is not easy.
