Even pre-covid samui never had many young ladies. When a young fresh 18-20 yo shows up they get GF'd up and taken out of the bar by a local expat in the first few weeks every time.

With only 1 "club" and a few girl bars open on the island its going to be pretty bad for a while. For just eye candy Coco Tams at fishermans village is the most popular place for young good looking Thais on holiday from BKK.

I'll buy airline tickets this week.

Severe rain and some flooding on Samui this week so I'm out of here but a couple quick notes about what I saw last week. Black "restaurant" in Chaweng is busy most nights and great after 10 on the weekend. Plenty of ladies and good variety some younger some old etc. Some decent looking massage ladies in bangrak between ghost road and the airport road. Massage ladies in Chaweng looking worse and older IMO. Lamai had many massage shops open but very few places to have a drink. No real lookers IMO. Soi reggae had a few bars open one night had good amount of girls later that week half that, maybe a group came to work didn't get enough customers and left.

Yes, I let the quarantine issues in Koh Samui prevent my trip. I am taking the ladies to Koh Larn instead.
Since I am going to Samui, I will pay the lady 2000 baht per night. She didn't mention price.

    Oops.

RT-PCR tests for Thais are the same price for Farang, under most cases.

Since you aren't into Freebies, how much do you pay girls for these weekend trips? Is this a price they asked for, agreed to, or just an arbitrary amount you decided to pay them?

Koh Samui, Phangan, and Tao included in July Sandbox

I just pulled this from an article on Yahoo! The 90 per week COVID cases worries me.

" On Tuesday -- eight days before its launch -- government spokesman Anucha Burapachaisri said the cabinet of Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha had officially given the scheme its blessing.

Besides Phuket, the other destinations include Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao -- all sun-soaked islands renowned for clear waters and sandy beaches.

But tricky caveats to ensure the sandbox goes ahead without any disruptions include keeping infection rates low -- in Phuket the number of weekly Covid cases cannot exceed 90. ".

I had (past tense) multiple Samui contacts, now I'm down to one contact remaining on the island. All the P4P girls have moved back to Isaan and a business owner lost his business and left the island. My lone remaining on-island contact says Samui opening is on the same schedule as Phuket (July for foreign tourists), but vaccinations are going better on Samui. Not sure if I believe it, haven't seen anything published to that effect. They probably don't really know themselves. TIT.

    Quarentine

Krabi was one of the 47 provinces that implemented a 14 day quarantine for all travelers from any RED ZONE province. Bangkok and Chonburi were and still are RED ZONE provinces. This came in to effect April 18 and was still in effect when you travelled to Krabi on around May 27. I'd certainly like some advice on how to evade mandatory quarantine periods.
