So, finally back from KS.

Chaweng offered the most abundance of massage parlours. But more expensive than the rare ones on outskirts towards Lamai Beach. Odd looking ones in Fisherman's Village.

Chaweng experience close to Mall was interesting with standard upfront was 400 baht and thereafter additional up to 2,000 including privacy and all services by 2 ladies.

Its more of a family vacation island generally so perhaps the other venues in Thailand offer better opportunities if mongering is high on one's agenda.

The road is the south end of Had Chaweng 1, also called Suan Uthit Road. There are a row of massage places and girl bars between the First Residence Hotel and Family Mart on Route 4169. I went on the late side, about midnight and most of the places were winding down. Chose a nice super tight bodied Issan spinner at one of the massage places. Was one big open room with dividers. GM, no International transaction fee credit cards and ATM cards are best with family. Plenty of ATM machines at airport and elsewhere. I assume you will be transiting so you should get some local cash as soon as you spot a BANK ATM machine. The exchange shops will break large bills for you.
