Stopped by Chicago during the afternoon and the place was pretty dead. About 6 regular average plain chicas, 2 patrons and an empty club. Left after a few minutes to finish checking out Zona Norte.

I know the place is named Chicago but do they really have to be cliche with it by playing the tommy sub machine gun outside? It does sound cartoony but if this is your first time in the area and you turn on the corner of the main street where Hong Kong, Adelita, and Tropical is, it's kind of sketchy cause of the instability of the region. Went in and this place is still basically dead. Has the blue light set up in the whole club. Doesn't look like they upgraded anything. Only about a dozen girls working in there and about 6 patrons. Guess the waiters were happy to see 4 asian guys walk in so like 3 of them ushered us to sit and asked what we wanted to drink. Honestly I just took another glance around and stood up and headed towards the exit. As we were leaving they kept calling us to come back. You can skip this too not much to see. Only reason we swung by is to show 2 of the new guys that were with us the whole area and what this street had to offer.

I too got a free drink coupon after a Xolos game and the guy was telling us how they remodeled and a bunch of "really hot" girls were dancing there now. I didn't really believe him, but decided WTF, worst case is get a free beer. So we went in and sure enough, the remodel looked nice, the dance stages are particularly nice and they had some hot dancers. Looks like they're investing some money and at least trying to bring the club back, as it's been horrible for years now. I ended up with a tall girl from Guadalajara who was one of the dancers. She was terrific and we did an hour upstairs in the hotel. The one hit was $30 for the room for an hour, even though though the room was OK that's high for ZN.

Went back the following weekend and it was a bit more crowded. Found the same girl and had a good time again. Even the maseros were OK, none of that hide the coins BS. It's still nowhere near the place Hong Kong is, but I found it to be a nice break as it's way less packed and more laid back. If you haven't been in there in awhile I'd check it out. It used to be one of my favorite places a LONG time ago in the 90's and it's good to see they're at least putting in an effort now.

Ditto that about the 90's, my god I have many great memories of the CC from about 1997 to 2003. Finally they put some money into it, yahoo! I will check it out this weekend!

They have some new girls. And I really like the remodel. Its worth checking out if you haven't been there in awhile. On another note, they got some new waiters. One idiot actually followed me out of the club as I was taking a girl upstairs and wanted me to buy her a drink. I told his ass to [CodeWord140] off. I won't let him serve me next time. Sometimes it just boggles my mind how poor business and customer service sense they have. Guess its not entirely their fault, not like they are trained or educated in any way.

If they hand out free spicy pork tacos, they could sell a lot of drinks. But they would still need hot chicas for the guys to want to come back and spend time and money on the girls.

This reminds me of Mr. J's, a topless strip joint near Orange County airport. Friday night for years they would have 2 dozens hot strippers and very good free snacks of cheese, pizza, wings, sausages etc. , hoping to attract the heavy drinkers and big tippers after work, but it never worked, even in a high-income area. They got mostly cheap skates who bought a $2 beer, ate prodigious amounts of free food, ogled but never tipped strippers.

I got a few tel numbers from their hot strippers, but could never arrange for sex them. After about 5 years of giving out free food, they folded. The place was owned and managed by a bunch of scary hoodlums. It may have been a front for something illegal, who knows? Recently a few popular bar chains in the US have been busted for selling drugs and prostitutes.

Got handed a free drink coupon for the Chicago Club last night, so I walked over and checked it out. Major change from my last visit. Chicago Club had some good looking chicas this time - 3 that were as good looking IMO as the better HK girls. Got my free drink, tipped the barman, then bought a drink for one of the chicas and chatted for awhile. Management has installed a dance podium in the center of the floor and is advertising the May 6th Canelo fight like the other local clubs. But in my opinion, to pull back the tourists, Chicago Club is going to have to offer something the other clubs do not have, for example, a "happy hour" buffet like some of the clubs and restaurants in San Diego. Saw about 50 elderly Chinese tourists walking nearby earlier in a tour group. If Chicago Club starts giving out free chicken wings, taquitos in a hot buffet bar and peanuts and salsa and chips etc, the place will be the number one destination for the tourists to get happy hour snacks and drinks.

Nobody I know even bothers to check out Chicago Club anymore, as it's been completely dead for years. I can't imagine how they stay in business, unless it's just a money laundering front for a drug cartel.

I agree about not imaging how they stay open. However, whenever I'm in Tijuana, CC is my last stop. I like the bartender and had my share of great times with some of the girls.

About 10 PM Tuesday night, I was having a shrimp ceviche at the school girls corner on Constitucion. 5 pick up trucks full of Army and policias, in camouflaged uniforms and fully equipped with automatic carbines, converged at the Tecate store. They were picking on 2 guys riding around on bikes. SHIT. Mexico can probably eradicate crimes better and easier with undercover cops and snitches than Army, Marines, Navy and Airforce hehe.

I decided to walk over and checked out Chicago. There was an edecanes looking about a 5 at the door. Inside the place was nice and clean with soft lighting and decent sound quality, but there were no customers, no stripper at the pole, only 3 chubbies sitting forlornly at the bar, giving me their desperate eyes.

Chicago has been dead for a few years. It's the biggest waste of assets and opportunities in North America to bring good incomes and orgasms to sweet Mexican girls, also good female companies, sexual satisfaction and happiness to lots of lonely and horny gringos.

A few other bars in la Zona, the &G next to La Perla and New York etc. Have some very good-looking girls working, but rarely have any customers. The pretty young girls would sit on their asses all night without any business but still insist on $100ST fucks with $20ST rooms. WTF is wrong with these Mexican business people? La Zona has some of the prettiest and sweetest girls with quick, easy access from the US border and has good potentials to become one of the best and most lucrative mongering spots. These local guys are just not creative and imaginative enough to take full advantage of their excellent assets and opportunities and develop them.

Perhaps we need bold guys like Bugsy Siegel, Mile Lansky to turn La Zona into a Las Vegas for sex!
