There are three Filipina I know that have gotten married to foreigners. I can understand why the girls did it but WTF were the foreigners thinking?

Men like fairy tales just as much as women. From reading this site alone, you can see that many men also like playing a hero role. I wish that I had enough money to make me want to save women. I definitely would not use it for that.

Foreign national is living in Ph, married with a kid to a provincial girl. While travelling within Ph he meets another Filipina in a different provincial town. She is the daughter of a barangay captain. They have a big wedding in her town. Within 4 months he's gone back to original wife. Girl B goes through a year of drama to get her marriage cancelled as it should never have been declared.

35 yo Foreign national travels to Ph, meets a lovely 30 yo girl and falls in love. On second trip in that same year they get married. He pays for her an apartment and she is encouraged to give up her secure government job. He goes back to his country. They are lovey dovey on FB and his profile is plastered with pics of he and her having great times together. That was four years ago. He continues paying apartment and allowance. He has not returned. She has not worked as he insists she doesn't need to. He has made no effort to take her to his country. Sometimes doesn't communicate for months. Continues paying. He has a low level tech support job in his country (ie he's not super rich).

51 yo foreigner meets 26 yo nurse. After two visits they get married in Ph. He doesn't visit again. After a few months he continually verbally abuses the girl. Contributes $0 since start of marriage (she doesn't need any money anyway). Continually say he has lodged divorce proceedings but none ever eventuate. SHe has moved country and become an OFW.

What insights do you have for these men? What are they thinking?

I guess I was one of the few lucky ones. After mongering for many years, I petitioned a 23-year-old Filipina from Mindanao (I was 55) on a US fiancée visa, brought her to the US, and we were married 6 years ago. Since then, she has become a US citizen, got a high paying professional job with a big company, and still looks as hot as ever. Unlike my previous Filipina wife, she has not become "Americanized," but still remains the sweet attentive wife from the provinces that she was when we married.

I still like to read the reports on this site to reminisce about my mongering days, but in that regard, I'm "retired. ".

Working the sites and met a smart Filipina living in Honk Kong. We started to chat and I actually enjoyed chatting with her she is significantly smarter than most of them and frankly that's important now days for me then she informs me she has a Canadian BF living in China and they have been together for 5 years. I was like ok then why are we chatting? She also thinks he is wonderful and he is handsome blah blah but she does not think he will marry her and that's what she wants.

What your story does remind me of how much fun I am missing out in HK these days. I used to enjoy making a pickup near Central Station and having a great afternoon with some fun maid.

Makes me smile when I do remember getting a mercy fuck from one girl. We chatted and flirted heaps and ended up back in my hotel after a while she says it's my unlucky day as its her period. You are right in that I don't know. Over the past year I've cut off most of my casual contacts as their need for money grew. There is no need for me to work out what it is about this girl.

I wrote the posts in humor, but do not throw out the essence of them. Like I said, is she doing this to only you or other people around her as well? Don't know what your concern is, but if it is only you then she has something against only you. If she does the same with everyone then that means she is not able to control it and there could be something wrong with her.

Most people know with whom they can get away with what. When they lose sight of this and start acting out in general then there is a problem. Does she have a problem or does she just have a problem with you is what you need to be asking. And if you do not know other people around her then there is no way you could know this. You will just be taking shots in the dark by only knowing that she does it with you, but not how she is in general. You are wasting your time without other pieces of the puzzle.

This is different because she hasn't been like this in the past 5 years. I'm familiar with Filipina antics and easily brush them off. I'm wondering if this is a side effect of the rolling lockdowns and lack of future that is wreaking havoc.

LOL. You act like the chick is in solitary confinement and it has caused her to go stir crazy or something. If she is treating you this bad and you only write a few words to her every now and then, she must have literally cut a couple people's throats by now that she comes into close contact with on a daily basis. I guess that would get her the solitary confinement you are imagining to have taken its toll on her.

I go one step further than Mr. E: mine don't speak unless they are spoken to. I don't get calls or chats when I'm in RWML but am happy to call, meet and help when I'm in town.

It's your money and time but it's probably 2 years since you were in PI and likely that long before you can return. Are you getting something in return that wouldn't be there if and when you can go back? I've never had a girl refuse to see me because I didn't provide support or communications while I was away.
