Thanks, Toronto, that mirrors what my girl says. It is probably cheaper to bribe for a completion certificate, especially if the girl can start work 5 months earlier. It all sounds like a well-regulated scam to take advantage of the students to me. Someone is getting rich.

My simple rules: 1. If it flies, floats or fucks. Rent it, don't buy it. 2. No Honey, no money.

I have seen girls in my room switch TV Chanel to the news station! Then afterwards to the celebrity entertainment news and soap operas.
There are some but more tabloid type newspapers, but when they look at Facebook on the phone etc I encourage them to look at Philstar, Inquirer, Daily Tribune etc for news. Some is OK some is clearly politically biased but better then Facebook.

Soap operas. They live their lies thinking what happens in the soap happens in real life, sad but true.

Yes. Literally. Fraud (a felony). From Wiki:

In law, fraud is deliberate deception to secure unfair or unlawful gain. Fraud is both a civil wrong (i.e., a fraud victim may sue the fraud perpetrator to avoid the fraud and/or recover monetary compensation) and a criminal wrong (i.e., a fraud perpetrator may be prosecuted and imprisoned by governmental authorities). The purpose of fraud may be monetary gain or other benefits, such as obtaining a driver's license by way of false statements.

I'd guess that its also against the Philippine RA's. However, since its a poor country, and so many people engage in the activity, there is usually little chance anyone will be prosecuted for it. DG, I will PM you something.

In an affidavit submitted to the Manila Police District general assignment section, Hensel said he was filing 20 counts of estafa against her.

He said Caparida started borrowing money in May 2015.

She often claimed that she needed the cash for hospitalization.

Since then, almost every week, Hensel would lend Caparida money, sometimes in dollars, sometimes in peso.

On Monday afternoon, Caparida attempted to borrow P27,000 to pay her bills in a Bulacan hospital.

"I refused (to give her the money) after I confirmed with the hospital. That there is no such patient in her name," Hensel said. SFM.

I really don't understand how he was duped? He voluntarily loaned her the money each week realizing he never was repaid from previous loans. Fact: she was a bad credit risk! Fact: she lied to him about the reasons for the loan. Many people lie for something. Criminal offense?

It doesn't say he was mentally disabled or incompetent to handle his financial affairs.

So totally true. And it will only get worse. We generally get behavior from our parents so if parents don't read papers, kids don't. Most certainly this generation has no idea what a newspaper is. Facebook has literally and figuratively dumbed down many. " I read / saw it on facebook, now converts written words into fact. Sad.

The cost? That depends where the OJT is. If close to home is small but if the OJT is in another city someone has to stump up the cash to pay for that.

Second OJT? Not heard of that one as generally this is completed towards the end of the course.

I know a few girls on OJT currently. One is in IT and is paid a transport allowance, but lives in the same city so she has a small room / board fee only. Same for another but both these girls are not HRm / tourism.

The HRM crew tend to struggle to find OJT work (as way too many looking for a chance) and some employers are unscrupulous also.

If you want to support this ask about why a second OJT, where is it, what hotel / resto (name so you can Google), ask what the cost involves (should be room, food, transport but watch out if in another city it could be airfare also).

Just my 2 cents but pays to ask as I know some are genuine and they do need help (I have helped one before and I know it was genuine as are the 2 I quoted above also).

    Falling in love

At the time when writing on this forum many of the cute 24 yr old party girls were now 28-29 and looking for husbands. It was time to refresh my talent pool.

Now I find myself a few weeks out from landing back into RP and would love to have a sprinkling of some reliable performers.

In particular, I'm thinking of a random girl I met in High Society (AC) nightclub. I didn't pick he up, she picked me up. With P250 in my pocket I wasn't much of a catch. But she was quite the performer. In addition to her skills in bed she was very attentive to me, folding my clothes, looking after me etc. Etc. She stayed for two days.

Almost impossible to find again, she may have gone home, be with another guy for the week I'm there.

But I'm also happy to move on, there are another million just like her.

Just thought I'd share these thoughts on how some pinay really steal our hearts!

I fall head of heals in love with every single girl I spend time with Then I divorce her and find my next true love.

    Money Scam

Never pay for a college girl's so called 'work experience'. The money will usually go to a Filipino boyfriend experience!

Do not spend money for a girls college fees.

Do not send money for the sick carabao.

Having such a 'girlfriend' will become very expensive.

Read past posts, do not think your Filipina is the exception!

    Interesting.

I met a college student (Hotel Restaurant Management) on my last trip in Manila for a couple of dinner dates. She claims to be a good girl but I never believe anything a girl tells me. Which is why I am asking this question. She is doing her second and final OJT prior to graduation and says that the OJT hotel wants 41.5 Kphp (about $880 US) for 700 hours of experience (she basically pays to work there for 5 months). Of course, she is hinting that I could pay for it. Is OJT really this expensive? Who the hell can afford to pay that, as a 19 year old? Is she pulling my leg, or as the Aussies say, 'taking the [CodeWord140]'? Someone is getting scammed here, either me or her.

P.S. I know a HRM degree is worthless. Everyone on DIA is either majoring in Tourism or HRM. Someone needs to hit the guidance counselors 'upside the head', as we in the South say.
