I don't know but I think I have to amicably disagree with this. I find Pinays to be more dishonest, deceptive and mercenary than western women. Maybe it's because western goldiggers are easier to spot, or maybe I have not been rich enough to attract these manipulative women in the West. But I really think Western women are more direct and will just reject you rather than to string you along with an act and false pretensions. The Flips I meet here are just bad to the core and their so called warm and feminine demeanor disguises a heart of cold steel. Not all but many.

I tend to flip back and forth on this.

Sometimes I think it is cultural, they do it so we will not loose face. I will add my 2 cents into this and maybe I'm getting caught up in a division that wasn't intended by the OP, but I am reading that he wants to say "flips" as like that whereas westerners / Australians aren't like that.

All I need to remind him is how many times have Australian wives divorced their husbands at times of financial difficulty IE money has run out or their husbands usefulness has diminished.

How man friends does he have that he has known since high school but once they get a GF / wife / have kids they too busy to answer a email / text until they want or need something from you.

You've left off the most important reason a hiso girl very rarely pairs up with a westerner, let alone a western monger: his main attraction, the Permanent Residence and improved living standards lottery wins, are actually negatives to an Asian with serious means. Very few John's are going to offer maids, cooks, drivers and a life of unrestricted luxury back in White Man's Land and she knows it because she probably lived there for her college years. There is no way she wants to be cleaning house and changing nappies when she could continue living a life of pleasure.
