I've had other Pinays plead with me for urgent food money, claiming that they are only "eating" water for lunch and dinner as they are so poor. One said they are going to die of starvation soon. I've seen so many on sites like MeetMe and Tagged where the first thing they say to you is "I need a spin" to pay for something vital. Then I look at their IG and see the latest birthday party they are throwing for their Tita with a full spread of all types of food, and about 20 folks gathered around and yet they are supposedly "down to their last peso. As far as claiming proof, I personally have seen a man trying to convince an Immigration official at a US Embassy in Tokyo with pictures of him and his Pinay girlfriends long term relationship before, but I think he got shot down when her moment of truth came when all of her supposed nieces and nephews were actually her kids and he didn't know.

I think DNA proved DHL founder fathered 3 or more kids from underaged girls. They got quite a settlement. Big news on WSJ back then. There was no fake documents then, just a claim and backed up with DNA results.

IME it is the receiver of documents in Philippines whom need to check authenticity whereas in Australia the courts weigh very heavily on fraud.
