It seems to me that people put the cart before the horse. They already have the idea or intention to marry and they look for someone that is willing to go along for the ride with them. To me it would make more sense to neutrally get to know a person then decide that you want to marry that particular person.

That is why I scratch my head when I am on a dating site and a chick asks me what I am looking for (or the questionaire when I am signing up does the same thing). Well I am just seeing what I can get into or what comes along my way. It is weird to me when chicks say they are looking for friends.
