My regular masseuse in Manila just informed me she has submitted her passport application to go to Canada. I initially thought she's going abroad to do massage, but it turns out she's going to be a caregiver. She has submitted her application for a Passport which is the first step in a long process. With passport in hand she will then have to make an application with a reputable Canadian placement agency. Depending upon Canadian laws governing work permits for foreign caregivers she may or may not get accepted. One thing hurting her will be the lack of experience in the field.

In the event she does get a contract she will have to file with Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for permission to be an Overseas Foreign Worker (OFW).

I am not sure who will pay for her flight to Canada but all along she will incur fees and costs.

OFW's live on a very frugal budgets sending most of theirs salaries home. Most if not living with their employers will bunk bed up 4-6 in a room saving on rent cost. Others will crash out on the floor.

OFW remittances are 10-12% of the Philippine GNP budget.

It is believed that 10% of the Filipino workers are OFW.

Everyone has their own taste and Steve is welcome to his. However, when I'm in town, I'm there for great sex, not to provide training. Simple question? Why do you bother visiting as those you chat with have all had foreigners inside them, some all holes! So why bother?

I suggest you may have more luck with a convent (even in the Philippines) or Canada where it seems you are bawd.
