The thing is with proper attention to negotiation at least in Boca Chica the 400-500 for a couple hours and 1000 for the night is still quite reasonable. It is the lack of trying to haggle for a fair price based on "well it is still cheap at $50" (compared to North America) that causes this type of inflation. In 2004 it was 400 and that is when the peso was more than 50:1, so 8 bucks. Now people think 1000 or $30 is reasonable, what prices are reasonable that have risen 300% in 2 years?

Some Spanish and patience and the willingness to walk away can reprice the market in a matter of months.

These places that bring girls in for a cut of the payment don't help matters much.

Where are finding these right now EK with jet flue pricing up NYC to DR is $500 and up now for the summer, and it's not going to get any lower till the kids go back to school the 2nd week of September.

Just curious why come to the DR for Haitian girls? I have never been with one in the DR and never will. Like someone mentioned before go to BC, Sosua is not that expensive to me you still get your money's worth out that place compared to other places around the world I think.

if you think the prices in Sosua were fair then you won't have trouble elsewhere since they are appalling in Sosua and cannot be higher in other parts of the DR.

Lots of Haiti girls in Boca Chica even now.

I may be able to do a quick escape to the DR in a couple of weeks. I seek advice re the following:

I was previously in Sosua and had an OK time, I do NOT mind going back to the same area. The questions:
