Probably not soon enough. I'll be in ICN, SYD, BKK and PNH in late January to mid Feb. I might be able to squeeze a trip in late April or early May. I probably won't be back to SJO until June though.

Generally, I'd say check out Oasis, Zona Blue and Idem.

I know this is the photogallery and is supposed to see photo's posted in it. But, although I do not post a single photo, it is about the photo's in here.

I visited Costa Rica only once and I thought, Chr...!! I want to live here, among the most beautiful women I've ever seen. But that was of course wishfull thinking.

So I thought, there's a photo gallery in this part of the forum and I'll be comforted by it. Alas!!! All I see are photo's of older, not so pretty women. Most of them even Colombiana's and Nica's (I mean to say: no locals).

Where are the photo's of the young and beautiful Tica's?

As it has been mentioned in previous times the Photo forums are for Photos. Some brief discussion about the photos is fine, but the degradation of the forum into a pissing match doesn't help anyone.

Let's pretend we're adults and not have to have Jackson come in and blue type us.

just my view...without chase and bulldog...the san jose forum would read like cabo (mexico) maybe 1 or 2 posts every week or so...without them i would have never found the true san jose or left the 3 block area around the b.m.
Also taking photos of the ticas comes with a price..such as 1.you must bring them to your room (you could bring your camera to zona blue or to the bar, but that comes with a risk of being stolen or in my case leaving it behind)2.not sure about the rest of you but the times i have ask the girl if the price we have agreed on comes with a photo session, more than half the time i have never even thought about taking photos untill 20 mins after they have left.3 so far on my 4 trips i have bought the cheap 10.99 camera and those shots must be taken to a c.v.s. or walmart ...so you must becarefull of what you are shooting...
So to sum it all up....those of you ...who take photos for the rest of us to see and enjoy, i cant thank you enough and anyone who wants to chat in the photo section...knock yourself out...any news about san jose is ..great news to me.......

I am anouther who doesn't post photos but post lots of informtion on hobbying. There are many ways to contribute outher than posting photos and there is a slim chance of encountering the same chica without details on where she is and that info is often only good short term. Chase posts a lot on many topics and likely has more general knowledge of the overall travel scene in Costa Rica than any person I know as well as lots of knowledge on the hobbying scene. He often responds gladly in detail to questions of newbies as well as seasoned travelers heading somewhere new.I commend him on his posting reguardless of how many photos he may have postsed. You only get the real information by searching the posts and pictures are mostly for entertainment.

2666, Are you busting my balls? Actually, in general taking trophy photos is not my thing (though I do have a few). Also, I feel posted photos in general are mainly just vicarious entertainment and not particularly helpful.

The odds of encountering one of the specific chicas pictured here is often very tiny. For one thing, there is huge turnover in the business. With a few possible exceptions posted photos of a gal from more than a few months ago is essentially pointless for anything other than simple titilation. Also, many of the pics I've seen here don't really present the chica in a way that you'd be able to recognize her even if you she were still around. The pic of GFE Shirley was a notable exception in that it actually included contact info.

To be able to identify a chica from a pic all that is needed is to show her face clearly and even fully clothed one can get a sufficient idea of her attractiveness if the idea is just to be able to spot her when you go down. Many chicas are not crazy about having their pictures on the net. Unfortunately, many guys post explicit nude photos of chicas after having made a dubious promise not to. Chicas know this and becuse of that are sometimes very wary of posing for even allegedly personal photos. So in short, the area of my posting photos is something I presonally just rather stay away from. YMMV.
