Wow the I was able to get into the board!
I just came back from CR and will post a trip report in a couple of days if I can get back on here.

I was a big fan of New Fantasy and was happy to see them reopen last Oct. I went there this trip and there were 3 women available around 11 to noon and I wouldn't have gone with any of them. The woman behind the counter seemed nice enough there was a guy sitting in front of the counter smoking and just stared.

I went down to Zona Blue and there were 5 available and after making my choice and walking to the room I saw the guy from New Fantasy come in and go to the computers!

I am going back in May and will give NF another try, but if it is the same that will be the last trip there for me.

Oasis is pretty good as well. I prefer Zona Blue myself.

Anyway I will have my report ready to go soon. Looking to buy my tickets for May - AA is giving doulble miles if you book by Feb 18 and complete travel by May 25.

Went to New fantasy twice and definitely would not recommend. First time, nothing above a 5 IMHO. Left unhappy. Went a second time, just cause it was close and convienient, and picked "Kathleena?" about a 6 but I thought what the hell I was horny. Big mistake. Sex sucked and pussy smelled so bad I terminated session after just a few minutes and took my losses. Couldnt wait to shower.

I have not been here for quite a while. The past 3 times I tried, over the past few months, I had problems getting on - server errors, re-tooling site, etc., and I guess it served as negative reinforcement.

Anyway, I'm back and so I want to know: When did New Fantasy re-open? In the same place?

I am shocked that you had such a bad experience there. Has it changed owners now? When I was there last July, it was my favorite spot. I went there 3 times, and 2 of the 3 times the girls I had were fantastic! The 3rd time she was okay, not bad, but not great. I had one that was a 9 in my book, and I tried to go back and see her twice but she was never there when I went back.

I suppose these places change from time to time as new girls arrive and others leave, and sometimes some bad apples get in there...

Anyone else had recent experience there? I hope to go back soon. I will be checking out Idem next time. Last time I went there too late in the evening, not knowing they close early, and did not get a chance to go back. I also look forward to going to Zona Blue. I've never been stopped by the police in San Jose (Only by traffic cops out in the boonies. I act stupid (not hard), and they usually just wave me on.

Oasis directions have been given, but here are some basic ones.

Find the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Paseo Colon. (1/2 k from Sabana), take the side road and head 1 1/2 blocks. You'll see Machu Pichu restaurant on the right hand side. I think this is a one way street here (though I've seen people driving the other way). On the left hand side of the street is a 2 or 3 story building with a big black metal door. You will see a security guard out front, and another (non-black) door leading to stairs.

You have to be buzzed through the door, but that's easy. Just say "Massage". Up the stairs, and take the first left. Remember it's only 10,000 colones.

Great reviews in the past, but no directions on any of the maps I can find. I would highly recommend the sportmens lodge. Bill and his staff have been great for my couple of days and it is so nice to get out of the hectic pace of just a few blocks away. Getting a cab back here at night is a bit of a pain in the ass, but I found that by asking cab driver to go to Don carlos, they then understand, and it either gets you close enough to redirect them or within safe walking distance, past the park, muggers and tranvestites. ( my spanish is pretty poor... but every bit helps.) I would suggest to all you gringos to learn how to say simple things like left, right, straight and stop in spanish at least, I learned this a long time ago. I will be posting a detailed report of my trip when time permits. Quickly, the best talent I have seen so far has been at Edem. all 8's and above. Great atmosphere. Dont have to deal with all the chica attitudes of the Del rey. Of course I did well at Del rey,too after weeding through the masses. Carrying passport everywhere now, after being stopped by policia coming out of a bad neiborhood I wondered into. Kept accusing me of doing drugs... had me empty pockets and held me for about 15 minutes while they said immigration was on the way. I had copies of passport, stamp and drivers lisc. Not good enough. I think they were just having fun... but, still IMHO I would rather deal with immigration after I loose my passport, rather than after I am in handcuffs. Im now keeping it in a secure pocket, and if it gets lifted,so be it. Much more later,this just skims the surface. Part of my new years resolutions to give something back to the board

I met Elizabeth while having lunch one afternoon at the News Cafe in the Hotel Presidente.

New Year's Eve was a total bust.
