No, it is 880 NOT 8. 80. Crazy. Never change money in bank. Go to the market or elsewhere, but make sure you only have crisp $$ to trade and only get non-worn kyat in return!

Hi it is 30 USD for whole night, it is a something strange in this country, you exchange in Bank you get 6. 4 Kyats / USD, if you change it outside (all merchants, shops, hotels accept USD) You get 880 Kyat for 1 USD

I mean 30 000 kyat, about US$30. No doubt the bellboy gets at least $5 (maybe $10) out of that, but it's well worth it for the convenience of getting a cute girl brought straight to your room in the afternoon, without any walk of shame! However, that method is a little hit and miss. 30 mins earlier he brought me two others who I didn't fancy, so I just gave them a couple of dollars for taxi and sent them away.
