I don't know of any of the waitresses of Dee's place being drunk in those days. Not on the job, anyway. I think management wouldn't have allowed that.

A girl once tried to threaten me with 'my cop is bigger than your cop' until I asked her if she knew what happens to PYTs back at the station should she be wrong.

She backed off real quick.

We are discussing venues back in the good old days in the main thread. Here are two pictures I came across in the back of a drawer recently of Dee's Place, from I would say about a dozen years or more ago.

Just to be clear these are the waiting staff, they are NOT service providers. As I recall it was quite difficult to even score a date off the waitresses, I know I tried often enough, and the owner (John Patton, pictured, did I hear he passed away?) frowned on waiting staff who crossed over into extra-curricular activities.

Smoothy and Menteng will immediately recognise a few old pals, and one heartbreaker who I could never persuade to be anything other than a good girl.
