I was in little saigon and some of the girls are hot. Not as many as I see in the photos of HCMC though. Every week one of my Vietnamese coworkers tells me of some guy they knew who went to Vietnam and brought back a bride. Always failed as the girl was only out for money and dumped him later. So it really doesn't pay to be a local in that sense. Bet he would have paid less for a LT than we do. Every time I thnk that I am going to find a traditional girl and settle down I remember that there are very few hot looking girls like that. Much more P4P girls around. Most of the ones in Southern California are nothing to write home about although there are a few stunners. 99% of the cuties here are definitely not into white guys. Funny. I WISH I had one of the face on this one met at Hanoi's New Century disco to warn you. She hit on me in very forward fashion at the door of the Club, I could no longer tolerate either the smoke or the techno blasting at 120db so I went to her minihotel, where i got fleeced for 200K. Then got a good massage, followed by boomboom, with all done within an hour. So I gave her a generous $30, but she threw a "you give me fifty dollah" hissyfit. She tried every trick in the book, but I refused to yield and after saying "if I man I boxing you" she stormed out. I then grabbed a taxi for the 3 minute ride bvack and he demands "$5 Dollah". I offered the $2 in my pocket, double the rate I had paid on the way over when the guy usred the meter. Again, an ugly scener requiring me to get the clerk of my hotel to come out to the street to play mediator. The next night I found an honest and helpful driver who arranged me a GFE all nighter for $50. YMMV is always a point tro keep in mind.

before departing VN threads for good to offer some modicum of redemption for having gotten the thread off kilter when I mentioned the improper use of the English language.

As the quote below confirms, "irregardless" is "non standard", " a form that many people mistakenly believe to be a correct usage in formal style but that in fact has no legitimate antecedents". Put differently, it "aint" (an even MORE improper non word) a word that should be used by people who wish to sound articulate.

Irregardless is ok to use according to The American Herritage Dictionary.

Getting a bit testy there are we surfer....Your so called "expert" is incorrect and I just wanted to clarify the fact not to insult you my friend. I would rather be a grammatically incorrect fool than an HIV carrying fool. Irregardless, one should really be careful quoting so called "experts" that give misleading information. I stand corrected on THAT point ot verbiage, but the figures are accurate according to research shjown me by an expert. Some studies say 1 in 500 but STILL safer than smoking or riding a moped! Last post on the subject from me.

PS Since you corrected my erroneous use of a term, I will return the favor. There is no such word as "irregardless". That is a redundant double negative.
