Tom you are the man! How do you go about convincing these girls to let you take pics? I've been in situations in my mongering experiences where I want to ask but just can never bring myself to do it. Not scared or anything, I just figure I don't want any unexpected reactions or to get shut down and ruin a mood. Are Tijuana girls receptive to simply asking? And is a tip expected for this? If so what is standard?

Posts: 3056Indeed. I might add that my visits to Asia and CR are also paid for gigs. Except the entertainment of course. Tijuana keeps me in shape and happy for the longer trips.

Been meaning to post these pics for awhile, and finally getting around to it. Just in case any new visitors are heading to Tijuana and haven't passed through the 'Detour' yet.
First pic is looking south from the Tram stop, with McDonalds' on the left and the USA crossing building on the right, just head down and turn left at the end of the builing. Second pic you'll see the White / Blue signs marking the new Pedestrian pathway, just a short block and you'll see the Cul-de-Sac and then right turn. Third pic is the pathway leading to the new turnstile and the Mexico crossing.
You'll feel like you're going through a maze with this new detour, I really miss the crossing on the other side of the freeway.

Posts: 13Couldn't agree more, but IMO the different experience makes it better. I am lucky I have a gig that makes me go to Indo, PI, and SinG (and now BKK next month) every couple months.
But CR is go to go too. To each their own. Variety & spice, etc.

Posts: 360Hammer, that was a lovely story and all. Almost put me to tears, but for every story like yours, there are 99 bad ones. The odds of you marrying a prostitute, and having it work out, is rare. I hope people don't read your story and think it's the norm. The bottom line is you are almost always better off renting. You will get sick of her, or she will get sick of you. One thing is for sure, you will get sick of the sex and go back to mongering. Good looking women are a drug. If you are rich, she will get your money and leave you for a young guy, or get her green card and leave you for a young guy. As the saying goes. If it Flies, Floats, or Fucks, always rent.
