With two grandparents who served for NZ in WWII I take offence at your bale out comment. My grandfather was wounded twice in action on foreign soil whilst American soliders were here in New Zealand. Why NZ soliders had to lose their lifes overseas whilst some foreign troops were present here I do not know why.

If the Americans didn't sit on their thumbs and wait for Japan to bomb pearl harbour, or even support the Nazis through Joe Kennedy, WWII would have been over a lot earlier and there would have been a lot less lives lost all round the world. America entered both wars late and because of that caused alot of suffering.

And as for current USA policy - not everyone in the Western world condones American action in Iraq. It is a freedom in this beautiful country of ours to have an opinion that doesn't match US policy.

Thank God we are a nuclear free country and have stood up the USA on that for over 20 years now. How many other countries have appluaded us, yet been too scared of America to do anything about it.

I see your post as the typical reaction of an American (and I personnally know a few) who doesn't understand that there is a world outside of the USA that can think and judge for themselves.

I do not intend to tarnish or degrade the service you have given to your country. It takes a strong and brave man to do that. All I ask is that you please consider that there are countries around the world that do not support the US cause and that the people of these countries are allowed to make comment in these public places.

I also do not condone what HarryR is doing with going bareback, but that is his choice and the choice of the girls he goes with.
