Maybe we receive a 16 billion dollar "aid" which most of it is from social security and medicare we already paid, so most of it is a refund of our money. We are a small country of 4 million people but contributes heavily to US economy. Over 500, 000 full time US employees depends of our purchases. Thousands of men have participated in all US wars since WWI and I can tell you other contributions we make to the United States. Remember, USA is the metropolis and we are the colony so in all history of humanity metropolis allways get more from its colony than colony from metropolis.

Being that told, let me give you a small history class of prostitution in Puerto Rico. Facts were taken from doctoral thesis available at the University of Puerto Rico.

Most brothels in Puerto Rico were constructed near the US military bases to serve the militia. There were some near the Miramar Navy base and Old San Juan that were very famous until their destruction in 1998. La Riviera, Miramar, Doral, Lucky 7, Hawaian Hut and Black Angus. Black Angus was described once in Penthouse Maganize as the best *****house of all America. The reason? Girls from any part of the world: asians, latinas, USA, Europe and even from Russia. Some puertoricans of course. And the price: girl plus room usually like 50 dollars. Most girls were foreigners. It always has been that way because we, as a country, are attractive to latinas that wants to be in a US territory who speaks their language and has a similar culture.

Street girls were very abundant up to the nineties in some parts of Santurce Miramar area, some tv, s too. Cheaper and similar quality and a larger ratio of puertorican girls.

Reasons for prostitution of puertorican girls? 1) To pay for her expenses 2) drug use 3) college girls from outside San Juan area who wants some easy xtra money.

Street girls, mostly drug users and young girls looking for money for fashion clothing and accessories were common in the main streets of puertorican towns.

It changed since 1998 when these places were closed and police is doing raids around the island against prostitution. Now we have a market similar to USA, girls are described as "escorts" and charges hundreds of dollars per hour. If you are ok with paying 250 for an hour with a cutie then you are welcome to PR. Puerto Rico girls are among the prettiest of the world. Since 1998 we are away to be a top monger destination.

Black Angus, Doral, Hawaian Hut and Miramar Night Club were closed in 1998. Lucky 7 was relocated, it was outside Puerta de Tierra and now it is inside. Not the same quality but double the prices. In the 90's you find quality, quantity and value on the streets and inside bars. Now it costs triple of what is was in the 90's , poor selection poor service.

Thank you for sharing your photos. I have been to PR probably in the neighborhood of 18 times. (will be there again in 3 days) 15 of these trips were for the purpose of connecting thru San Juan to the DR or South America. The other three (3) trips were to visit my ex-wifes family.

PR is a beautiful, beautiful island with absolutely gorgeous women (my ex-wife was very pretty and was born in the province of Mayagüez) but this island is brutal for the "hobby".

Don't frustrate yourself, get a passport and take the short "island-hopper" flight from SJU to POP or SDQ.
