Well, there is more than one reason why med students who got their degree in FSU aren't accepted as doctors in EU. Ever heard of protectionism and unions? From experience, exchange students from FSU have always been very motivated and did great on exams. So, no need to imply they are morons.

For example not that long time ago no doctors from Eastern Europe were allowed to practise medicine in EU, but today they do. Hardly drastic measures and sudden increase of IQ in Poland, Czech and Hungary, but plain politics, and of course membership in EU. Besides, how come there are Ukrainian nurses in English hospitals? Any clue?

Oh, and do you know there is a bunch of students from Scandinavia studying medicine in countires like Poland? Please, advise me - Should I shy from them once I need health care?

Its a 6 years course. 3500 USD is the yearly fees. They teach in both english and russian language. This degree is accepted in america and other european countries, I have already passed my first step of USMLE, after I am done from here. I will attempt my second step.
