    Green Hotels. Personal Experience

    Paramount Hotel, Business Bay.

    SLS Hotel, Business Bay.

    Mercure, AL Barsha.

Guys don't sneak in guest. It's for your safety. There are lot of ways to sneak in guest, but if anything goes wrong, then you will be trouble.

Nowadays mostly all star hotels are green.

A friend of mine is in trouble with his wife, who got access to his phone and on booking dot com under his login she found the guest ID as well. He books the room and the girl joins him later. When she registered at the reception her ID gets registered on the app as well. How this happened and how the wife found is still not fully known. He is completely cutoff from his friends while he resurrects the marriage.

Guest name does not show on your bill

Only the name of the main person on the reservation will show on the bill.

Also, if the guest is required to register at reception, does it show up on the final bill upon check out? Asking this ince it is a business trip, do not want the guest names to show up upon check out. Is there any Marriott in Dubai which doesn't do so?

    Thanks and safe mongering.

And if anybody is up for a drink on next weekend, let's meet up!

    Yes it is green

All high end hotels in Dubai are green. This question has been asked multiple times.

Yes all hotels are green. Green means you can have a guest stay in your room by giving the guest's ID to reception which will be used to take the guest details and handed back to the guest.

Do not expect any hotel to allow a non registered guest to be in the room. This is only possible if you can sneak someone to your room. Totally not recommended.

Double Tree Al Barsha is a dump. Change the hotel of you can. Waldorf Palm is very nice. It will require ID but they are super classy about it.

Waldorf will require your guest to register to go up to the rooms for sure. Reckon it should be green if you keep it lowkey.

    La Meridien at Airport

Spent a night at the La Meridien near the Dubai airport. Hotel was nice and even wondered over to Jules and ate some of the Mexican food on offer. After a week in Thailand and an early flight the next day I could not stay there long enough to see all the girls arrive. Nice place though.

Hi friends, I will be in Dubai again next week. As you know I love hotel rooms that have a jacuzzi in them. I usually enjoyed the Hilton Dubai Creek (status upgrades etc.) but now it's changed to the Golden Sands Creek. Does anyone know if it's still green?

    Cheers.

All, may thanks for your help. Plan to be in Dubai end of May, will report.
You shouldn't have a problem with girls here. You can go straight up from the basement car park via the elevator to the rooms. Having said that, the hotel is super boring. Slightly dark, gothic feel. Pleasant enough for a stay.

Very interested. We're still firming up dates but have received a couple positive responses.

Looking for someone who can host. Maybe for a big event or for just a quick drop by.

    Let us know.

I am now planning a long trip to Dubai focusing on the expo and mongering.

I want to ask about the hotels' situation in Dubai. I read the previous reports in this thread and these hotels looked guest-friendly to me:

    Golden Sands Hotel Apartments.

    Burjuman Arjaan by Rotana. Dubai..
Did you get some more informative.

    Signature One, Tecom-Worth Staying At?

    Hi all,

Extreme newbie here, off to Dubai soon after a couple years of WG curiosity. Have seen mixed reports on Sig One, some say it's the hub for WGs and some say its dead. I'm looking to stay somewhere where either the hotel bar is loaded, so back to room is easy, or somewhere with WG nearby for a short walk back to mine or theirs. Looking for a ton of advice but will try and post in relevant forums for all my questions! Thanks all.
