Does anyone know of a website or Agent who can get the whole villa for rent as we do with serviced apartments or same like in Phuket.

2 - 4 bedrooms but the entire villa nobody to ask you or question you or how many people are inside.

It can be good fun for an orgy or small party with friends. I heard from some members WR used to do stuff like this in DXB.

I hope someone will definitely enlighten on this topic?

Am surprised there is nothing on airbnb but when I did look once some of the prices were silly so I did look much.

I used to have a huge apartment so that helped and at times some of us booked a large site at the hotel and had fun. We started in the early afternoon, had nice food / drink laid out and left the next day.

For me the best bet was a suite etc but in those days some hotels not as fussy as they are now. Issue could be price.

Another alternative is a place outside Dubai as you may find some villas available.

Or looking for a penthouse or loft in Burj Khalifa or any other high rise building can also be another good place for a small get together or party.

I did try and look in the Air BnB but its mostly for sharing rooms or sharing apartments not for exclusive use as I require.

People on this this thread have reported success using airbnb. So why not give it a shot.

As you mentioned earlier. I researched through Airbnb. Very few are there where whole place is given. Mainly located near Jumeriah and Barsha. But not sure if they would allow and unless payment done cannot confirm if it's available for the particular date. If it's planned much in advance I guess we can try Airbnb. But not sure if the owner / caretaker of the place would allow such activities. Any tried and tested place known by ISG members can give the pointers for future booking.

Instead of Hotels are try airbnb, which is very safe and economic.

I tried on my last visit, Allotted 48th Floor of Tiger Bldg in Dubai Marina sector, stayed there for 2 days for 350 AED.

Good deal and good location.

I have been a great fan of your articles and visited the bars recommended by you. You are a great inspiration and would love to visit some bars with you, just to experience the wonderful reviews in person.

Can you please provide names of a few green apartments in Bur Dubai as they sound nice. I always stay at JW Marriott in Diera which is green but very expensive.

I intend to travel again to Dubai in a few days. I am not getting good rates at my usual joints so am evaluating new options and need regular punters advise. Can any one confirm status for below hotels:

- Holiday Inn Express Airport.

- Raintree Rolla Bur Dubai.

- IBIS Deira City Center or IBIS Rigga (Earlier they wanted name of 2nd person at Check in now am not sure).

If any other alternative in reasonable mid level budget in Bur Dubai then please do let let us know.

From what I have found on my checking below are RED:

- Nihal Palace Hotel (ex Metropolitan Deira).

- Best Western Deira (Ex Traders Hotel) = They want guests to check in together or name to be shared prior.

- CityMax Bur Dubai.
