Posts: 109Well some hotels want to be just family friendly. And some want to gain more money. Simlple rules the more you pay for the room, the easier to get outside guest, but majority will require to register them in the reception which is ok. Some expensive hotels sadly will not allow any new guest after 12 pm such as fairmont. But other expensive (more than600 dhs) will allow.

Also I wanted to bounce on some funny / weird items in the list that I quoted above.
Bona fide couples with different nationalities are not allowed.
Married woman can have an affair without having to show the ID, marriage certificate is enough.
If Municipality forbids visitors (I doubt they are the ones regulating this, more the remit of DTCM and others) then all other hotels are infringing the regulations. They will make a shit load of money if.
Don't they know that in this country legal age is 18?
My point is that some of these rules seem discretionary and as often there are based on some urban legend regulations that stick around without anyone really knowing where it comes from, hence the mess and the need for this thread.

Hey Guys,
Can anyone say something about the status of the Seaview hotel in Bur Dubai?
Is it Green?
I love the Mariners bar and hence am considering to stay in the Seaview Hotel. I once heard they have a relaxed guest policy.
Please advise. Thanks Casey.

Posts: 89Golden Tulip Al Barsha and Deira. Green
Over the past two weeks I took rooms in Golden Tulip Al Barsha and Golden Tulip (Nihal Palace) - Deira. Both are green. They just asked both our Emirates ID and it was quiet smooth. No questions asked.

Posts: 21Visiting Dubai for 2 weeks next month
Hello everyone,
Can you guys suggest some good hotel under $100. I don't want to fuck up anything as I've never been to Dubai before, also I'm 26 Yo brown Indian and I will have a girl from Moscow joining me few days after I check in, she's 19 blue eyed blond and certainly not a prostitute as there is no payment involved. Looking for hotel which would be friendly for both of us.
