This is for Park Regis Kris Kin, although when I called the receptionist didn't tell me that, so check if that's the specific rule.

    Ask the agent / girl

    Hi,

An easy Trick I use to search for guest friendly Hotel is to ask a girl or agent / Mama-san.

Before my trip I search for girls on MR I like and ask if they are still there, tell them I will be in Dubai in xy week and if they know any good hotels. Each send me 4-5 hotel names. I search the name choose the best for me.

And for the people who ask if xy hotel is green. Try using the search button her. If you don't find anything then we mostly also don't know. Asking her is useless.

Have fun and please Report back your hotels.

I guess it depends how you ask the question or the person who answers. , I suggest you Call and speak to Manager Roger and see?

    IMHO.

Onto another issue, this thread is losing its purpose as almost every post is from people asking if such and such hotel is green instead of providing info if such an such hotel is green, defeating the entire purpose of this thread. It's very simple, if you want to know the status of a hotel, do what I did and RING THEM UP, they will tell you straight up because they already know what you mean, and then you can pass that info here to everyone else, just like I did. And I just called all the way from London because I'm planning to visit Dubai when I fly back to Abu Dhabi this week. It's really frustrating coming here to find info on which hotel is green or not but then see entire pages of people asking is this or that hotel green, nobody wins that way.
Well, there's a simple run around that, make two separate bookings for two nights in a row and problem solved. I was going to do that at one hotel but for 10 nights in a row until I found another green hotel.

I'll be in Dubai in a few days for 2 weeks and am looking for a hotel apartment that's reasonably priced, GF, and which has a kitchen with stove where one can cook. Now I can book Pullman apartments or Burjuman Arjaan, but the prices are sky high and I don't want to spend that much.

If anyone has any recommendation for an apartment that is GF, reasonably priced (say 100 USD per day) and has a kitchen with a stove, please let me know.

    Cheers,

Nail on the head. You are so right, more questions than answers and even when those are answered the question poster never comes back with a report on their stay and feedback. Information is truly lacking.

Unfortunately prices are going to be sky high until March because of the EXPO, and prices are even higher around next week because of the Air Show as well, and then you got Christmas-New Year season coming up, the good ole covid days of cheap prices in Dubai is over. But, I have searched and still found reasonable prices at good hotels that are green like Park Regis Kris Kin and Hyatt Corniche. Radisson Blu on the Creek depending on how far ahead you search also sometimes brings up reasonable prices, but overall it's going to be very expensive for the next 6 months at least until Ramadan-Summer season.

Intercontinental Marina was red two years ago. They are also rude and non-discrete about it. Been on my no-go list ever since.
