Dubai - Hotel Information

LE Meridien comes through. Booked for two, but one gals name on my booking as my "wife" but they allowed a completely different girl to check in at the desk and come straight to my room. No hassle, no walk of shame.

Still no reports on this upscale beach resort? LE Merdien is usually green, I'm hoping to invite my Fili beach bunny for a day at the beach and a night in the room. PM me if you have any insights.

Thanks all, it was just supposition on my part. I know Dubai is the EK base but assumed there are still attendants who don't live there. Didn't think about corporate lodging etc.

Dubai is Emirates base! No way do the crew stay in hotels. Their own homes, Emirates purpose built crew accommodation or Emirates leased buildings.

What you will find is that EK crew frequent good clubs like Zinc and also the one near Jules bar and upstairs of Warehouse. These establishments offer great discounts to air crew (face card) as they know it attracts good clientele.

Isn't that where the Emirates flight attendants overnight? Try your luck either in advance (on board), or at the bar. Those pretty young things are susceptible to a free drink or two.

I don't know if Emirates uses that hotel. Actually, why would they? They have plenty of accomodation around the airport themselves, right?

I think it's just 'marketing'. Same as Rock Bottom bar. They act as if it's frequented by Emirates staff. Never have seen anyone there.

Me also K as I have stayed there and never seen. Other air crew for sure but not EK. Plenty apartments in town house many EK crew and I know many LOL.

Was green last time I was there and as always depends what time and what she looks like.

I'll be visiting DXB again in a few weeks time. Company has put me in millennium Airport hotel, next to LE Meridien and al bustan. I know millennium was green a few years ago. Does anyone here know it's current or recent status?

Le Meridien, Airport is green with ID and they also take the phone number of your guest. At the time of check in, they may ask you to provide the name of the second occupant, but, just tell them that they'd be joining you later and you'll be ok.

Ibis al Rigga has to be green with all the ladies at the lobby, but I am not sure.

I'm not saying this one is red or green, but drawing the conclusions that is green because of the ladies in the lobby is incorrect. It's mostly the opposite: if there are ladies in lobby, you can safely assume it's red.

Sheraton Grand Sheikh Zayed.

Sheraton Dubai Creek.

Both are Green. Stayed at both places myself. Can bring girls with ID. Reservation must be for double occupancy.
