Can you please confirm after your stay they are still green, or what other options are available. I will be there from 17th to 22nd of October and I got lost cause it seems like no hotel is green for granted so I have to be updated and postpone my reservation for a while, I also read through the forum about many hotels of which Ibis hotel seems good, so give your updates if you have any more information.

Posts: 34Is Tulip Hotel Apartments Green?
Hi fellow mongers,
Long time Dubai monger. 2003 to mid 2009 (left due to economic crash = lost my job) , now back for short visit of fun proportions. I've booked at the Tulip Hotel Apartments in Bur Dubai and wanted to know if anyone can shed light on whether the place is green? If not, I'll have to reconsider. Or rebook somewhere else.
Thanks for your earliest reply.
SL.
[ PS. After posting this I decided to take the in retrospect fairly obvious route and call the Hotel up, asking the innocent question that I am coming to the Hotel with my girlfriend, and would it be a problem? To which the friendly Fili reservation lady asked what nationality my girlfriend is, and I replied she is Russian. The immediate but polite response was that this was against company policy, which i accepted gracefully and put down the phone.
I have since rebooked at the London Crowne 1 Hotel Apartment which I called before booking and was informed that bringing my girlfriend was no problem so long as she had ID with her. ]

Yes it is red there are a better options green Hotels in Bur Dubai.
-Majestic Hotel.
-Panorama.
-4 points on Bank St.
-Burjuman arjaan.
Please always keep in mind that any hotel can change its policy in the last second and becomes red.
It happened to me many times where I call the hotel to confirm if it is Green or not 24 hours before I book and once I bring my catch they told me "Not allowed"

I will probably stay at this hotel again at the end of Aug for a few nights since it's so close to the "attractions" nearby, can't beat the location.

All. Beyond the Grosvenor House hotel can anyone recommend any hotels (ideally 4/5 star) where their is a good availability of WG's in the bar or hotel night club. Especially during Ramadan.
