Posts: 5Many thanks for the response.
FYI, I just got this response from the DoubleTree M Square hotel.
"Greetings from Doubletree by Hilton M square hotel and residences!
Please note that you can bring your guest to your room."

Posts: 5Greenery. Doubletree business bay or new M square
Hi all,
Very new member here, have been carefully RTFF with excitement over the past few weeks. Does anyone know if the double tree hotels by Hilton (specifically business bay or M square) are green? Someone asked a few months ago without response.
I've emailed the hotel twice without answer. Am avoiding calling as I don't have international calling from my home.
If no one knows, I'll take one for the team, try it out and post back!

Avoid towers Rotana next to Financial Centre Station. It's total red. They don't even have you normal visiter.
Towers Rotana = Dark red!

Hi,
It's my first post.
If you want visits in your room, avoid Towers Rotana. Location is nice but they don't allow visitors. It doesn't matter what type of Guest.
Towers Rotana on SZR = Red.

Posts: 204Park Regis Kris Kin Bur Dubai
I have stayed here before but was annoyed with the 1 girl only rule. I got a promotional email from them today with some offers, I took a quick look and it was quite good. The suites did look good VFM so I decided to give them a call. I was pleasantly surprised by their response to my question on their guest policy. I don't think anything got lost in translation as my questions were direct:
What is your guest policy?
Can I bring a guest?
Does she have to register when I check in?
Can I bring a different guest everyday?
I was told I could bring a guest, she just had to have ID and needed to register. I asked about more than one guest, he said that was ok as long as they were registered. I asked him to confirm the following, if I was to bring a different girl everyday would that be ok. His response was yes, please come.
So this appears to be good news. Maybe they need the business or are relaxing the rules for the EXPO. Don't book this hotel based on the above. If anyone is bored or free, feel free to call them and corroborate what I was told.

Posts: 18I've been monitoring hotel prices in Dubai for a while because of a business related trip early next year. The prices, as others have noted, are mushrooming even several months out. From the frequent flyer / travel forums I visit the consensus seems like the hotels are severely overvaluing the draw of the Expo. The expectation from fellow travelers is that occupancy from the Expo with regard to the soaring rates will prove to be a disappointment for hotels and that rates will quickly adjust for the later parts of the events (it's running for 6 months after all) will come down.
So my advice for those planning travel to Dubai is to not make any (non-refundable) reservations just yet but try to push out your visit as far away form October as possible.

Just checking what are the best options (green for ID registration & pocket friendly) for a short stay in a hotel (couple of hours check-in without luggage) with a WG (she may have passport as ID).
Any suggestions towards Jebel Ali / Tecom side would be highly appreciated to utilize max time for booty call rather than driving to deira side.
TIA!

Occasion may present itself to have an escort in a hotel room along with my wife (at the same time).
Is this going to be possible? Wife will be present at check in, escort almost certainly not.
