Dubai - Hotel Information

Will be in Dubai next month. Any problem to bring a girl up to the room in interconti festival city? Is it GF in general?

Stayed at Novotel WTC last year and certainly no problems with taking girls upto room, they were not even asked for I'd. REception is usually quiet busy even late at night, so easy to slip in without any notrice. Same applies to all the Novotels and IBIS hotels.

I was there over the months of June and July this year (4 different times) and certainly security is now on the look out, even asked for the I'd of the 'sex on legs' girl I was with (see PG) even though she had checked in with me and had provided the I'd already. And it asked for the national I'd card or passport. Maybe just tightening up?

The search operation on the thread is acting up. I am unable to find reports on status of NOVOTEL and search results I clickon take me somewhere else not related to the hotel at all, any guidance would be appreciated on current status of it being GF or not?

And any update on SAVOY CENTRAL Apartment formerly Dar Al Sandos would also be great!

Lets you tak a girl up and asks for I'd but if you have a girl with you early enough then no hassles, also if you book a room as 2 person occupancy (as many have said before countless times) this also helps.

I would always take girl in early not after bars close makes life easier etc

Thanks WR, it seems that then I would have to be on a hunt night before for numbers and schedule the meetings day after for evening. Generally I only take girls in wee hours after a night out of of fun. Somehow rates also come down as the night progresses but once you catch them early they never want to negotiate for LT!

My Q is where to get alcohol apart from the duty free, as I read in another forum I pass a duty free shop at the airport, apart from that where?

You can buy your spirits at the spirit shop next to the Abela market at Etihad plaza (abudhabi) a spirit lic is NOT required. They were open even during the fasting month.

Please excuse my lack of understanding Bravo. I said green as in they let you take a friend upstairs. Paying extra definitely makes this hotel go down the list as Desert Rose is close by and Green.

No problem, just trying to be consistent. Over time, that entertainment fee can add up. I can see if it's a single's supplement, but if you've already booked a double room, find it annoying.

Non-muslim RESIDENTS can apply for an alcohol license. Visitors should buy at the duty free ARRIVALS. Other solution is to find someone on a visa run, and ask her to pick you up something. One of the smaller emirates (forget which one, search on the Dubai thread) does sell over-the-counter alcohol, but illegal to cross into another emirate with it; do so at your own risk.

Savoy Central apartments (formerly Dar Al Sondos) for a couple of nights at least. Last time I stayed was before the change of ownership, so would prefer to definitely know if policy towards temporary overnight guests has changed. DAS has been my recent favourite for pounding pussy, as it is within walking distance of the Triangle's main outlets (although not in this current weather).

Exactly my question as well. Am there in Sept. Earlier it was GF when it was under Merdien. Anyone having the latest update whether it is still continuing the practice!

The hotel is GF. They might just ask for I'd of the girl before you proceed. Its better if she is carrying original.

I was there last year and it was green, I never had any problems with any of the Sheraton's in Dubai. You will like the bathrooms too.

My usual spot Sheraton Creek. At the Creek, if you are walking in with a girl they will not even look at you, but if the girl is on her own they will ask for I D and make you come down and get her.
