Posts: 40I think there is only one Holiday Inn in Dubai now, the one at Deira. Appreciate your advice. How about the Renaisance Hotel in Deira?
Thanks.

Which one? It was my understanding that the Holiday Inn Bur Dubai is now called Movenpick. As I reported earlier, it was friendly as of DEC 2003. In fact I have seen a few real CIS stunners working the 1st floor bar (I forget the name of the bar.) The hotel security guys will ask for a passport copy if they bump into you with a lady, but no hassles and no additions to the bill.
Cheers,
Sporadic

I dont know if Jumeira Beach is any more friendlier than most of the other hotels in town. Individual hotels can of course vary.
One thing is for sure that, in additon to the high room rates, you'll have to contend with about Dhs 100 taxi fare each time you head to the city.
Also some girls are reluctant to go to the Beach. Because it's out of the way, costs them another Dhs 50 to get back, which may wind up being your responsibility in the morning.
In my limited experience, I thought the girls tended to raise their rates by a couple of hundred at the mention of Jumeira beach.
Maybe they think the client is well to do, and will/can pay more?
In the end, it's all worth it, if you find that real special one!
Good luck.

I've stayed before at Bubai Marine Beach resort and it was great. No questions asked whatsoever, can you recommend another couple of hotels. Right now, Dubai Marine beach resort is so bloody expensive.
should I stay downtown since the shopping festival might make traffic really bad? is it true that Jumerah area is more girl friendly???
please advise.

Anybody ever stayed in Novotel World Trade Centre and can report about friendliness? It's too crazy to get a room for the coming week anywhere because of the DSF.
Everything booked out and the agent just could quote me that hotel
Cheers

Posts: 128Burj Al Arab is totally safe. Try out the pool on the top floor level at nights, just you, your lover and the water!

Posts: 9Burj Al Arab is quite guest friendly. All the girl has to do is quote the suite number. The staff and hotel is quite tuned in, they simply ask to see the girls passport copy and all the regular girls seem to know this.

Posts: 120No problem at the Burj Al Arab.I also had a friend stay there and I Went in with a girl. The problem is you have to pay I think it was 50 Dirham for anyone to get into the hotel.I paid 100 for the girl and I and they did not even look at her.It is totally friendly. I will post a detailed report on my trip as soon as I get a breather from work.

Posts: 221I have a friend you works directly with the Burj-al-Arab it is NOT girl friendly. They have a very very high cliental who check in with their own sw girls. So it would be very difficult to get a girl to come up to your room.

Posts: 1010I've beeb invited to Dubai by an old friend who is loaded and staying at Burj-al-Arab. I know the hotel is very nice, but no point staying there if it is girl unfriendly. I'd much rather go elsewere. Any ideas as to wether it is ok?
