Would be the ideal location to stay (Hotel wise) while visiting Dubai for the beautiful night life it has? Marina? Bur Dubai? Deira? Or any other recommendations from the experienced mongers would be highly appreciated.

Acc to me burdubai is the best place. Easy access to both sides. Shk zayed road as well as Diera.

Just called the Ramada Bur Dubai and they said you can bring guests as long as the room is booked for 2 people and the guest brings their ID to the desk. Can anyone one the ground confirm this? This Ramada has been Red for awhile.

It was always Green for me. I do what they say, and never had a problem. The only reason I don't book with them now is the fucking prices jump a couple hundred dollars when I clicked the ready to pay button a couple days ago! Can somebody help me out with Four Points Bur Dubai?

Maybe they changed policy seeing it's going to be demolished next month.

Crowne Plaza Diera is completely open to guests.

Have not had any questions asked of me or guest.

Have had a friend who had to show ID for his guest a while back, only exception.

Executive Lounge is also receptive to guests with no questions asked.

Even during Ramadan.

The first has worked out well for me. Girl has to sign in with you, though. Still, once you're there you can tell it happens all the time.

Sign in? As in check in on day 1? I plan on two or three during my stay.

Guess ill have to check out to another green hotel to make use of the few days I have left.

That has been my experience. Most of the time I just walk right past security without even a second glance. Act like you own the place and you will have no issue.

If are asked say you are going to eat. As long as it is not 3 am and the restaurants are closed. Did this at the Sheraton Creek as well sometimes and other hotels where the restos are a few floors up.

Checking to see if JW Marriott Deira is still green. It was green, girl had to show passport at the reception, when I was staying there 6 months ago.

Just called the front desk and asked them about their visitor policy. I was told that registered hotel guest must escort the visitor to front desk so they can have a copy of their ID / Passport and that's it. No extra charges.

It appears that Marriott Marquis is greenish?

That has more to do with Ramadan. There are instructions in this period to hotels to stop many activities, no loud music etc. Come Eid and you will see Fairmont lobby full with long legged beauties strutting their stuff to CIN CIN and Cavali. Most the hotels will turn amber or green. We need tourist especially our Saudi guests like you properly entertained. Otherwise we will loose our status as 7th most popular touristic destination!!

HI Mongers. I just moved to Dubai.

Can any of you guys recommend a fully furnished apartment that I could take up where regular mongering won't be a problem. Especially from pesky neighbors or apartment security.

Can pay around 7-8 K a month.

How is Chelsea Apartment at Discovery Gardens.

Look at Jumeirah Village. It is quiet and people are quite relaxed about who is coming and going.

NO GUESTS are allowed and there are a security guard always by the elevators who keeps checking, so today I asked him and he said no guests are allowed as per the police instructions on SZR road no hotels are allowing guests so they are all becoming Red, however not sure about other hotels but fairmont is definitely Red now.
