First trip to Dubai will be late February, and I plan on using Marriott points for the stay. The JW in Deira is the only property I've seen anything on, and it appears to be Green. Which Marriott property is the best to stay at, and that is definitely Green? The 4 options are JW in Deira, Marriott Harbour, Marriott Marquis, or Marriott Al Jaddar. Thanks in advance for any help.

This is about 2 weeks ago during my business trip to Dubai. My host company booked me along with two other office colleagues at Time Plaza in Qusais. During allotment of room, I asked the receptionist for a double bed which she did, but soon after I entered the room the receptionist called to say that no guests are allowed. My colleagues were also informed the same. In fact, during my 2 days, I did not find any WGs. Thus, it is strictly red, and good only for families and not for mongers looking for fun.

Ibis Rigga was very cordial, and ironically the night receptionists tend to be from my country of origin. Initially it was a bit awkward but they are good and even offer discounts on the posted rate when I am there with my regular.
Ibis Deira on the other hand, are "green" but made me feel very uncomfortable with the staring and cold attitude at check in when I took a girl from Premiere.
Can't help about Ibis MOE but I would believe it would be better than any of the hotel apartments in that area, which are more popular with large families from a neighbouring country. Ibis' bare bones rooms tend to not attract such families.

I went back many pages and there was talk about Ibliss hotels being green. So I booked the Ibliss Mall for my upcoming stay. But most references are to the ones at Al Barsha, not the Mall one.
Anyone with direct experience can confirm if its really green?
Thanks.

Posts: 87As the previous poster said, what she wears makes a difference; my Uzbek regular can dress down when going to less than cooperative hotels, no problems so far, and one of the major well known red hotels had her registered as my spouse.

Posts: 204Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai Bank
Hi,
The Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai Bank street is still green.
I had 4 girls visit me, only 2 were asked to show ID.
I did not have to pay anything extra for my 2 guests.
Reports to follow.

Posts: 67Doing incall is an option for ST, but for LT, I like home turf advantages. I also like day time mongering but haven't had good FS experiences with AMP. Most tend to be hit or miss with limited menu as per my limited experiences with AMP. I might go for somebody from MR. Or call up somebody I might have met at the clubs previous nights. That is why want to know if York is green during day time or early evenings and possible to sneak in girls during day time.
In one old FR report, I saw Dallas Hotel and Meena Plaza Hotel being mentioned as possible option to take the room at night for around 150. Hopefully, these hotels are still green and still in throw away price range. They would be nuclear option in case everything else didn't work out.

From mild to moderate RTFFing it appears to be almost Green (WG allowed but with ID). Does anyone else have conflicting information?
P.S.: There's a 3 star dump at the end of Deira called St. George Hotel. I used to prefer it due to inhouse availability of punani. Never paid more that 350/ night for the room. Today the asking price on booking dot com is 9,000+ WTF indeed!

The PRC / Viet's usually bring you to some hourly paid room which is included in their price, while the Africans have their own place.
In the daytime you always have the AMP's you can visit.
