Dubai - Hotel Information

I booked York for my January visit but found out from ISG that York is Red. Since my booking is non-refundable, I am screwed. Surely, the hotel must be green during certain day time hours. Does anybody know what times during daytime would be green to bring the girls to York? What time at night it would turn Red? Is there any reasonably priced hourly hotels I can take the girls to at night? Will Appreciate the info and recommendations.

You have asked this question a few times about hotels. Given that in theory you have been to Dubai already and partied somewhere, you should no by now the hotels especially if you RTFF.

And you have asked other questions all in your 8 FR total LOL.

Confirmed GF as of this week:

Fairmont, SZR: Many opportunities to not have to stop at reception. The lobby is big enough and when there are people in the lobby, just walk straight to the elevator It has an entrance at the back of the hotel. Tell the taxi driver to drop you off there and you can avoid the lobby walk. Its been open as late at 2 pm. (during at least ten episodes, I have never needed to stop at reception desk).

Same for Shangri-La on SZR

Arjaan Burjuman: They want the original ID, but with a smile. There is an entrance from the Burjuman mall, staffed by a single security guard. As long as the mall is open, you can use that entrance and have to show the ID to only one person, and avoid the walk of shame in the small lobby.

Holiday Inn , Embassy district: Need ID, no issues.

Original definition of GF hotel: No ID, no questions, no fees, (or may be a copy of ID)
Current definition of GF hotel: Original ID, sometimes fees

ALWAYS BOOK DOUBLE (there is usually no additional charge for it).
(unless you look like a pimp and she looks like a ho' , you will be fine at most places ).

About Burjuman Arjaan I have been to that place three times in the past, and every time I bring a girl the hotel staff always gave me a hard time. Maybe they are looking for a tip or somthing!

Coming to Dubai for 3 days for work and need to stay in bur Dubai due to proximity to meetings. My second visit to Dubai, can someone let me know green hotels for the month of December in bur Dubai or Deira. Dates are between 26th and 29th December.

My last stay at Hyatt regency Deira wasn't exactly smooth. So very keen to know as my dates are for peak time hotel rates.

The Ibises on Deira side, any of the 3/4 airport hotels.

Thanks Wicked Roger, but am based in Africa and don't do much even though its available as am not interested in the local stuff and don't get adventurous with family around. I only venture when I travel which is also not a regular phenomenon. I did RTFF and came to know the color status changes in Dubai. As time stayed in Hyatt regency Deira which was a complete miss for me. I do have pm if anyone wants to help.

I can help you guys in Johannesburg, if someone needs info pm me. But for Dubai I need help. I called a few hotels and their answers were not very convincing.

Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai Bank street is green with a joiner fee of AED 65.

Hyatt Regency (Premiere)= Red.

Hyatt Regency (New One)= Green.

Park Hyatt= Green.

Checked this 3 weeks ago. Just call the concierge and ask.

Plenty of ways to find the answers AF76, You could call the hotel or RTFF? Try that as you FR history is lots of questions not much contribution. Lots of hotels in Bur Dubai so lots of choices and many ideas on this thread to help you decide so try the advanced search function.
