Booked here thinking I'll have some fun tonight. Got a nice lady delivered to the hotel. To my astonishment, they said no visitors allowed unless they are not registered at the time of check-in. WTF? Left blue balled last night.

Was planning to book this hotel next month but seeing mixed messages. I'm a Marriott member so willing to book most of them, but hard to find good info in the thread search.

What'd you do tho, did you meet her in the lobby and try to register her and got denied?

Is the City Seasons Towers are green? Older post from 2018 was not really green. Looking for a Stay in Burjuman at March 10.

It's baffling. I have stayed at this place before a couple of years ago and taken a WG up with no issues.

My understanding, I don't know for fact, is that the Marriott family who give the chain its name and remain major shareholders are hardcore Christians which is reflected in the hotel policies, and they are not very tolerating of 'hanky panky'!

Sorry, I accidentally posted this in the Dubai forum. I'll post it here where it belongs.

Has anyone have experience staying at the Ritz Carlton or the Ascott Park Place hotels near the Financial Center metro station? Are these hotels green?

I have stayed here multiple times, I however check in with my friend using her real ID and have never faced a problem not being married to each other. She has never been asked where she's going despite multiple entries and exits. I took other ladies up a couple of times in the past, but that was some time ago. I don't think they would deny entry if you are confident and one does not make it obvious she's a WG.

Simple hotel-apartment in Al Jaddaf waterfront. Contacted them beforehand to know the guest policy, they said no problem basically.

As it turns out, you can go straight from the garage to the hotel room, so I've brought a girl to my room basically every night and I've never been asked to come register once but you can if you want.

The place is clean, no-frill, with a large room and a short distance from the nice promenade on Jaddaf Waterfront. There isn't any kind of restaurant in the hotel though so no breakfast, and the area around is empty. The metro is not too far but I wouldn't recommend staying here without a car. The staff is polite and room cleaning is efficient. Good place.

Thank you for the advice however its a bit expensive than our budget. We are thinking of something with the range of 20 k AED for the whole stay. This is more than double our budget.

Also the private pool thing is not a necessity. Its more of a big suite (3 bedrooms) in a green hotel. Any suggestions?

Get a 3 or 4 bed Villa attached to the Zabeel Saray on the Palm, they are available via the jumeirah.com site also through the various booking portals. Have stayed there once and they are fantastic and also reasonably private. The villas all have living rooms with double doors which open into a shared lagoon, however each villa also has its own pool on the ground floor. Entrance to the villa section is separate from the hotel, drive straight in and park outside your place.

We are having my friends bachelor party in may and looking for a place. We are 5 people. The perfect set up is a big apartment (penthouse or big terrace). With 3 bedrooms. Five Palm is fully booked for the wk end we intend.

We don't want 3 or basic 4 star hotels. We want something with FUn pool set up (maybe a place with a regular pool party). An Onsite club / mongering bar is also an add on.

Hey, I am trying to book a hotel for tomorrow but the prices of every hotel is outrageous. Asking for 3000 aed and even 1 k aed for a dump of an hotel. Does anyone have any suggestions for hotels?

Right now it's the Gulfood trade show and this being the good season, it's generally trade show / tourism season so yes, prices will be high.
